Two horrible days dragged on since Jaasig has left. I have an unusual sleep schedule since I am laying on my back all day tied up like some animals. I have been treated pretty much the same except no one talks to me. I hear them start to talk to me, but I guess Kylad glares at them or something for them to shut up. I rarely speak to them as well.

There are four men here, but one never talks. I don't know where he is or what he looks like. I don't even know his name, he is so rarely spoken to. I don't really see any of them. Sometimes I will get a glance at one of the Talyarian men when they toss me bread or pour water all over my face.

I haven't really gotten a chance to observe anything really. I have just been hanging upside down pondering my fate of how much longer I have to breath. I don't remember if they mentioned it or not how many days I have left;  I only know that it is no more than a month. A lot less, in fact. Possibly two weeks? Maybe even one week...

Failure.

That constant voice always torments me. It doesn't matter if it is night, day, or in between, it taunts me. Awake or asleep, it is there. Nothing stops that little voice in my head. I wish I knew how, but I don't.

Failure.

Okay, time to change the subject. “Where are we going?” I demand for only the second time.

“I'll only give you the same answer that I gave you before, jalz.” Kylad answers in that boring tone. Man, he drives me nuts!

“Well, if you were tied up like an animal and over heard that you are headed to your death, wouldn't you try to get to the bottom of it?”

“Of course, but I doubt you would answer.”

“Well, why are you doing this? I have not harmed any of you in as far as I know. If I have, a simple demand of apology will work.” Yeah, I remember what Listin said. They were deceived or something. I don't care, though. I want to know what the crap is going on with these people. What are the drigs telling them?

“Simple orders.” Trinner states without thinking. I hear Kylad clear his throat threateningly, and Trinner doesn't say anything else.

“Well, who gave you these orders?” I push. If I'm going to die, might as well know who holds the ax. No one responds. “I asked who ordered you to kill me.” I growl.

“Nothing that concerns you.” I hear Farhan mutter.

“I think it does.” I respond defiantly.

“Oh, shut up, will you?” I groan as a kick makes me wobble. That simple wobble made my skin burn from the ropes. I made sure not to react any further, how ever.

“Would you?” I demand.

“It is the honorable thing to do.” Kylad says. I can tell by his voice that he is growing angry. What do I care?

“Oh, so it is either be honorable and die, or get answers before you die. Well, I think honor is thrown out of the question since you are putting you entire world at risk. Don't talk to me about honor, you are a disgrace.”

Too far.

“Stop!” Kylad demands. Everything does and no one speaks. I think some even stopped breathing! I hear a thud hit the ground, and loud foot falls come my way. Kylad is soon standing over me with hate filled eyes. His dark brown ones that are almost black. He grabs my shirt and pulls me up by the collar. I struggle to breath, but hey, that eases my hands a little at least.
