John woke up in a sweat. He dreamt of the creature. And the other one. The shadow. He knew something bad had happened in Hawkins before. That's what 4 children had told him. An evil had kidnapped a child who left here. For some reason, he believed everything but the 2nd dimension. Another universe? Impossible! But one phrase made him shiver. If you want to join our gang, you must understand that friends don't lie. You hear me. Friends. Don't. Lie. Lucas had said that. Hawkins Lab was definitely hiding something. He had to peek behind the curtain. Nothing here was correct. He was going to The Other Side and nobody could stop him.
Meanwhile, in Hawkins Middle School, Mike, Lucas and Max were arguing.
"How could you tell a student what happened?" Mike exclaimed.
"Well, he was curious.." Max muttered.
"Well, yeah. Yeah! What Max said! That kid was curious-" Lucas began.
"Where's Dustin?" Mike questioned.
"Didn't he say he was going to see that John kid?" Max said.
"I think he w-" Lucas began again.
"Shut up, Lucas!" Both Max and Mike shouted together.
"Geez, will I ever get a chance to sp-" Lucas began again but realized Max was looking at him with a deadly glare. "Aww.. Fine" Lucas said finally. Lucas wandered to his home.
