Chapter 9 | Things can't last forever

((Liu's POV))

I decided to head to a park my mum found and she it was nice there. So I'm going to check that out myself. I got my coat on since it was really cold in New York and it was winter and headed out the door of my house.

Everything was marvelous in New York, nice buildings, friendly people, the stores are amazing. Plus the food~

By the time I got to the park, I couldn't feel my hands.

Curse you cold...

There was a playground covered in snow while children played on it. I wanted to play on it too but I didn't want to look retarted.. There were many trees, now all without leaves but some covered in snow. The ground was snowy as well.

After about minutes of exploring the beauty of the park, I heard someone crying silently. I turned to my left and spotted the red headed boy on a bench, his hands on his face, crying.

Zak.

I quickly headed over there and catch up to him. I crouched down to him like if I was talking to a child.

"Hey.. Zak" I said and he shot his head to look at me. His face was all red as well was his eyes due to the crying.

Oh the poor thing....

"L-Liu!" he stutters as he gave me a hug. I hugged back and sat next to him on the bench.

"What's wrong??" I ask.

He chewed on his lip and gave me an innocent look.

---------Zak's POV----------

Aww shit! What should I tell him?! Should I say what Danielle did? I don't want to see him heart broken.. Ugh, my head hurts just by thinking about it.

I chewed on my lip as I started to feel myself tear up again. And that's when I broke down onto Liu. "I'M SO SORRY LIU!! I'M SO SORRY!!! I WAS GONNA HELP DANNY WITH SHIT AND AS SOON AS I WENT TO HER HOUSE SHE WAS FUCKING ANOTHER DUDE! I RAN OUT AND FOUND THE NEAREST PARK AND STAYED HERE CRYING MY EYES OUT!! I'M SO SORRY!" I sobbed onto his chest.

I couldn't keep it in.. I just could hide it from him, I care about him too much.

----------Liu's POV----------

I can't believe it.. Danielle.. Ch-Cheated on me. That fucking WHORE! I felt myself beginning to cry. I thought we were meant to be. But I guess not.

I started to tear up, trying my very best to just keep it all in, not wanting to cry in front of Zak, since he's already sobbing his eyes out.

After a minute later I spoke up, struggling to pull myself together. "Thank you.." I said with a weak smile, obviously couldn't keep the tears and emotions in, but I managed to anyway.

----------Zak's POV----------

About a minute later I looked up at him and noticed his cheeks were a little stained as if he let out a few tears. I don't blame him.

"Thank you.." He smiled weakly.

"W-Whut..?" I mumbled.

"Th-Thank you for telling me.."

He started to cry again and made myself feel horrible.

After a few minutes later he spoke up. "So want to head to my place? We can get some hot coco and watch some films by the fire?" He asked.

"Um, sure.. If that's okay with you.." I said as I interrupted my own thoughts.
