it was the final read. everything was coming to an end.

y/n didn't know how to feel. she was sad, she was angry.

she was sad she wouldn't get to hang out with her cast mates all the time. sad it could be a while until they see each other again. sad it was actually over for a while.

she was angry it was so short. angry everyone lived so far away. angry it was her last day with the people she loved most. her last day with her family.

"i don't want this to be over."

she didn't want to cry, she didn't want to seem weak.

"i love you all more than life itself. i've made so many amazing friendships and even a new relationship and i'm not ready for everything to end."

she was talking about her and josh.

it was random.

it was like a fairy tale.

they met, they fell in love, and now they're here.

she was so grateful for everything.

this entire experience, it couldn't have gone better.

once the read was over, everyone cried and ate and eventually said their goodbyes.

it was three in the morning, and y/n's flight back home was leaving soon.

it was her and joshua left, standing in front of the airport.

it was sad that it was their last day together.

she was probably being dramatic, i mean they'll start filming in summer, she'll see him then, right. right?

y/n couldn't help but let her eyes water.

they had built such a strong bond together.

they loved each other so much.

"i'll text you every day. and i'll facetime you. i'll make sure you see franklin all the time." he said while hugging her, she could tell he was crying.

"i'll make sure to answer every text and every facetime. and i'll miss our son so much."

franklin was their build-a-bear son.

"i love you so much."

"i love you too.

y/n didn't want to let go, she couldn't.

neither could josh.

"hey joshy?"

"yes?"

"will everything be okay?" she couldn't help but ask, she was scared.

"everything will be perfect."

he kissed her to which she returned.

they hugged and hugged until they couldn't anymore, before she was late.

"im going to miss you so much!"

with one last goodbye hug, josh whispered in her ear,

"goodnight and goodbye,"
