Zhao Jiangui ponders strenuously, a night without sleep.

The next day Ji Han still says he wants to go walk around. Zhao Jiangui goes with him, in his heart unease comes and goes. So many times he almost can't keep himself from telling Ji Han the truth, but he's able to endure it in the end.

What would it be like if Ji Han knew the truth, and what would it be like for the Haoran Alliance?

He touches on actions he's not allowed, he is not at all brave to speak the truth.

Zhao Jiangui for the first time thinks that he's like a coward.

Ji Han breaks step with him, bringing him to the practice room.

"This is the place where I am free to practice martial arts." Ji Han says to him, "Bringing it up, for so many days I haven't come to the practice room, even my swordsmanship has probably regressed."

Zhao Jiangui says, "You were injured, in that case you should properly rest."

"If I said that to Yifu, he'd get angry." Ji Han says, "The injured also shouldn't languish, and should at least also examine methods of swordsmanship."

Zhao Jiangui appears quite disapproving towards his statement, "The injured should only rest, swordsmanship can wait until one is healed to be practiced once more."

Ji Han sighs, "If one falls behind, it's just difficult to catch back up again."

Zhao Jiangui, "I can assist you."

Ji Han panics, looks at him somewhat incredulously.

Zhao Jiangui suddenly feels very embarrassed.

Ji Han turns to go, twisting his sleeves very nervously, only pretending that he hadn't heard this statement.

He suddenly realizes a guard still stands by each side of the door. Although those two guards wear blank faces without a trace of emotion, he feels he's already able to hear the two laughing.

He has the guts to worry his embarrassment has been seen through by people, however he hides his face so as not to reveal his state of mind. Ji Han commands the guards to retreat. After waiting until the people have all left, he then looks at Zhao Jiangui again, changing the subject, expression turning grave, "We must first discuss business."

Zhao Jiangui is blank, "What business?"

Ji Han says, "Last night I also conversed with Hua Hufa and Wei Qi, this matter of the assassins... They still suspect it's Wen Zhanglao's doing."

Zhao Jiangui recalls Wen Zhanglao's manner, and approves of their opinions greatly.

He felt Wen Zhanglao would be harmful to Ji Han all along, but Wen Zhanglao is also an important member of the Demon Sect. If this matter is truly his doing, he's unable to say if he will still disturb whatever issue comes up after.

"They're only suspicious, and don't have any evidence. It's also just talk. When all is said and done, I still don't know who wants to kill me." Ji Han says indifferently, "Every person beside me has the possibility, but I don't have a way to fully understand their minds."

There's a tremble in Zhao Jiangui's heart. He thinks whether or not he is also...someone who wants Ji Han killed?

Ji Han continues, "Right now, I only know that person isn't you."

Zhao Jiangui is stumped, "Why?"

"If you wanted to kill me, you'd just draw your sword and duel me." Ji Han smiles faintly, "Zhao Daxia absolutely will not use this kind of shameful trickery."

Zhao Jiangui's words won't come.

He uses far more than just shameful trickery, he now uses trickery that even scum wouldn't go for.

Ji Han glances at him. "Why have you always been so heavy-hearted these last few days? What is it you need to get out?"

Zhao Jiangui hurriedly denies, "Nothing, there's nothing I need to get out."

In a soft voice, Ji Han says to him, "If there's something, keep in mind that you can tell me, don't hold it in your heart."

Zhao Jiangui wants to open his mouth a number of times, eventually he swallows it back.

Ji Han doesn't press him, just looks down, staring fixedly at the floor.

Zhao Jiangui finally breaks away from the midst of a mood brought on by his own worries. Detecting that something seems wrong with Ji Han, he hesitates a moment, softly asks, "What's going on?"

Ji Han seems as if he's trying his best to remain composed.

Suddenly Zhao Jiangui is a bit worried.

"What's going on with you?" Zhao Jiangui gently grasps Ji Han's hand. "Do you need to get something out? Tell me."

Ji Han lifts his eyes to look at him.

"Zhao Jiangui..." Ji Han grips his hand, "Actually, I'm afraid."

Zhao Jiangui stares dumbfounded for a time. After he comes back to himself, he can't help tightening his hold on Ji Han's hand, "You... You don't need to be afraid."

He really wants to tell Ji Han, say You still have me, but he doesn't dare open his mouth.

"Zhao Jiangui, I..." Ji Han clenches his teeth, speaks in a low voice, "If I weren't the sect leader, it would be nice."

Zhao Jiangui has already pulled him into an embrace, Ji Han hadn't avoided him.

"Don't be scared." Zhao Jiangui speaks in a soft voice, "You still have me."

His mind is in chaos, he had already almost said something, he only thinks, Ji Han doesn't want to be sect leader, and if I myself were not a righteous warrior, it would be nice.

"Yes." Ji Han grasps the front of Zhao Jiangui's clothes tightly, and with an ordinary tone, slowly opens his mouth, "I still have you."
