ALEX SMALLS knows that the city has changed. The three fractions, the vampires, werewolves, and the witches have never gotten along, Alex knows this. Yet there's something uneasy, about the city called the Big Easy. There are whispers, the air has become thicker, the streets are quieter. She can feel it deep in her bones that the tides are changing, not the best but for the worst.
Soon, Alex will be forced to pick a side, having no loyalty towards anyone, her decision is ultimately unknown. What she does know that hope is one of things that can keep the people she loves and herself alive.
