Tobias POV:
Tris and I head back to the apartment and get ready for bed. Tomorrow is a free day because of Visiting day so tris and I will observe for a half hour then I'll take tris on a date. We have yet to celebrate her ranking first. "Hey Tris" I nudge her with my elbow. "You ranked first.. What happened to being ambassador of the factions?"
She shrugs her shoulders "I don't know- i- its been a year since I've seen either of my parents, I don't know if I could handle the look of devastation on my father's face." She looks in my eyes. "I don't know if I'd see them but I don't want to seem unhappy here."
I press my lips into a thin line and nod.
"And I get to work with the person Iove. But he teaches the dauntless borns." She laughs and I grin "I am kidding you know I love you." She kisses me then pulls away.
