Satomi walked around Dumont academy with an eye-patch. She kept on saying she had some kind of eye disease that best be kept closed behind an eye patch and everyone believed her.

She and Yukimura were not on top of each other. The last the texted was on the weekend and that was him congratulations her on her win in a smaller scale tournament in France. She thanked him and they chatted a bit.

She fit in without a problem at Dumont. She had a few friends, but not close enough to share secrets with. The boys tennis team occasionally sought out her advice, but otherwise most of her time was taken up by tennis. The Australian Open happened to be during midterms. She talked with her teachers who knew about her situation and took the tests early. It was her last day before she was to leave for the Australian Open. Currently she had not won any Grand Slams, but she made quite the name for herself. Being only 16 almost 17 and becoming a Grand Slam finalist multiple times is a pretty big feat.

Her training was intense and she has practically mastered the puppeteer skills. Key word: practically. It was only during harder games she would revert back to using Assassination methods, but even that only got her so far. Some of the best tennis players faced some of the worst defeats. She herself, even using the Assassination method lose 0-6, 0-6 straight sets her first few times playing in the quarter-finals or semi-finals rounds. Her defeats when she got to the finalists rounds hurt much more though. She sucked it up and continued. Same with other players. The defeats they faced in the past were much worse than what Satomi had in store for them.

She walked into the classroom of her last class a biology class.

She sat down in her usual seat as there was chatter around her. She just blanked out and her teacher could not force her to do much since she had already passed the midterm exam that they were studying for in class.

Max pull his seat towards hers. They were good friends.

"Did you do the math homework?" Max asked.

"Which one?" Satomi asked.

"The one she assigned yesterday." Max said.

"Is that the gas laws?" Satomi asked. Max nodded. She took out a folder and went back through all her papers until she found it and gave it to him.

"What's with all the other papers?" Max asked.

"Those are all the homeworks of this unit. I asked for the whole list of homework so I didn't have to worry about not having it." Satomi said. Max nodded understanding.

"How's training been going?" Max asked.

"Tiring, but it will be worth it to be number 1." Satomi said.

"What's your current ranking in the world?" Max asked. Satomi shrugged.

"I don't know I think in the 10s or 20s. I haven't won any GrandSlams yet. Being a finalist isn't enough to be put me on the radar in the Top 10. With the Australian Open starting soon I really need to win." Satomi said. Max nodded.

Preliminaries and the first few rounds went extremely well. She defeated all her opponents in the preliminaries without even having to use any of her special skills. She managed to use puppeteer perfectly to defeat her next few opponents, but when it go to the Quarterfinals she used a mix of puppeteer and assassin and made it into the semifinals.

"Out! Deuce Advantage." The referee said. Satomi slipped the ball under her spandex skirt and got another ball from the ball boy. She headed over to the Advantage side of the court and bounced the ball a few times. Keeping her rhythm she threw it into the air and slammed down on it. It went straight into the box on her opponent's side meaning it was in. Her opponent had easily returned it. She moved to center court and hit a fore-hand straight to the other side.
