Optimus found Bumblebee, alone, in his room in the afternoon. He better do this now so the night maybe easier for him.
"Hey." Optimus greeted the gloomy leader.
"Hey." Bee said back, still facing the wall.
Optimus was yet again wearing his mother's scarf, like he always will when things are bad. But, maybe he can change that.
"Come on, get on bed and sleep while you can." Optimus smiled, pulled Bumblebee into a soft embrace and sat themselves on the bed like a father and son would.
Optimus smiled, trailing his pinky down Bumblebee's forehead and let Cassidy take over for one time so he can sing.
Where the north wind meets the sea,
There's a river full of memory.
Sleep, my darling, safe and sound,
For in this river all is found.
