Zane's POV
"Who was that?" Jay asked as I rejoined the group.
"Just a girl; she said her name was Katie." I replied. "I don't know why, but, I somehow feel like she and I have intertwined destinies in some way."
"Ooh, Zane's smitten!" Kai teased.
"Nindroid's got a cru-sh~!" Jay sang. I punched him in the shoulder.
"It's nothing like that!" I hissed. "I just think she has something to do with the prophecy. Maybe she'll lead us to the apprentices."
Cole nodded. "Okay, so, that's a start."
We all stood in silence outside the front office. Though we made light of the situation, it was evident in our eyes that the seriousness had began to set in. The future of Ninjago was bused completly on when, if, or how soon we found these apprentices.
The clock to the final battle was ticking down, and it wasn't going to wait for anyone.
