Time takes no bribe
Life itself is limited time
But within that time, love can be a blooming flower
Everyone wants a taste of love
Though the flavours may vary
My flavour was sweet and refreshing at best
And I yearned for you; you craved for me
Within your days, beauty walked around us
Beauty shone within your eyes
I was blinded; nothing to see but you
Until you showed me the world again, but from the skies
I enjoyed it all
You were like the rain, refreshing the earth
Only you were mine
But then the rain ended; you took my heart with you, and I took your smile
You were beautiful even in death
Now, although the sun rises, I don't see your eyes anymore
I loved you
I still do
The stars shine
And we may think that they'll live on for eternity
But even stars die
