Do you have a best friend who takes care of you? One who defends you from persons who would harm you? One who protects you from any and all possible danger? One who calls you when you need someone to talk to and listens to all your endless chatter? One who inspires you to be the best that you can be? Don't you tell her that she's an angel from heaven? Yes, friends are like angels.
Are you an angel to another? Do you try to be one? In truth, it's not easy. You need to make the effort, you need to spend much of your time, talent and treasure. To be an angel you need to be virtuous. And that's where the trouble lies. We're not always willing to take that challenge.
