"Stop staring and go talk to her." I looked at poor Nelson admiring his crush, Shailey.

She was pretty and from what I have observed, nice and sweet, unlike my crush who was hard to approach for normal human beings.

"She is going to hate me." He said in a sad tone.

"You will never know unless you talk to her." I encouraged him.

"Or I could start the conversation by asking some problem and you can join in?" I offered him another solution.

"No, no. Don't include me in this talk." He panicked as if I was walking to talk to right then.

I needed to solve this problem so I got up and ignored the horrified expression on his face.

"Hi Shailey," I said and she actually looked up from her book and smiled.

"Hi."

"Can you help me with this physics question?" I said and sat down.

"Sure, you are Edith, right?"

I am popular?

"Yes."

"Thank you for helping my friend." She said and it took me a second to realize the girl I saved from Kayden was her friend.

"Please, Kayden is a jerk who needed to learn some lesson."

"You are so cool." She said with her eyes filled with awe.

I couldn't respond well except a weird embarrassed laugh.

As the question was solved I acted in an Oscar-worthy performance and called Nelson in a casual way," Nelson, come here, this question is solved."

The expression on his face was downright hilarious.

He walked looking a little pale and sat down next to me.

"Hi Nelson," Shailey said kindly.

I think Nelson died and was reborn because he forgot how to speak.

"Hi." He finally answered in a small voice.

He was whipped.

All the while we studied Nelson slowly started talking and asking queries while I had to do most of the talking among the three of us.

"Eddy, come on, we need to submit the plan for Music Festival by the end of this week." I heard a painfully familiar and I was furious at my name being distorted this way.

I got up gritting my teeth together because I had to do this work no matter I wanted or not.

"Don't call me that." I hissed at him leaving Nelson and Shailey together to have a moment hopefully.

"What? You will beat me up?" He said in a dry tone.

I kept my mouth shut unless I tried hitting him again and get suspended this time.

He had listed something in his list of things he silently passed on to me.

"Give me your list." He said like it was obvious.

"No, I don't like to share my ideas with you."

"Don't mess with me." He said seriously.

"Or what you are gonna bully me as you do with the rest of the population."

"Don't be overconfident." He was threatening.

"I have handled bullies like you," I said realizing I was poking the bear.
