Shawn's P.O.V

Walking up Y/N's front steps I knocked on her door and waited. Seeing her open up she smiled when she saw me.

"what are you doing here?" she hugged me and ushered me inside.

"i'm here to take you on an adventure if your not up to anything today!"

"i'm down for that, should I change?" she looked down at her outfit. 

"no. you look perfect" I grabbed her hand and spun her around.

Y/N smiled and grabbed her bag following me outside and into my jeep I rolled off the driveway and drove down the road to our destination.

When we made it I stopped the car on the grass and climbed into the back. Sitting on the blankets and pillows I had set up for us I looked up at Y/N and smiled.

"come join me!" I patted the spot next to me.

"ok!"

Sitting next to her once she made it to the back seat I sighed contently and leaned into her. Feeling the sun on my face I was happy in this moment.

"so what are we going to do?" Y/N asked.

"I thought we could sit back here and just read or hangout enjoy the sun without the cold breeze" I pulled the bag of books from the floor.

Rifling through the bag Y/N pulled out two different books. Reading the back she set the one back in the bag and started reading the other. 

Spending most of our afternoon in the car enjoying the sunshine it was starting to get dark out. Lying back I looked up and saw the stars were starting to come out.

Pulling Y/N into me I couldn't believe that this was my life. I had the most beautiful girl with me and we were here enjoying this moment together. Singing lightly I could feel my eyes starting to droop. I didn't realize how tired I was until now.

"did you want to head home? You look tired lovely" Y/N looked up at me placing her hand on my cheek.

"that's probably a good idea, am I able to just crash at your place?"

"for sure!" she smiled.

Giving me a quick kiss she crawled back into the front of the jeep and waited for me to climb up there with her. Kissing her again I started the vehicle and drove off into the night.
