Yuu was taken to Rin's house. Everything is made up of wood not as fancy as the houses in nearby towns but it's decent enough.
(Creaks)
Rin: "I'm sorry... if it looks bad." (closes the door)
Yuu: "N-No it's not ! It looks...unique."
Rin: "You can take a seat there" (points at the sofa) "Want some snack ?"
Yuu: "No thanks"
Outside the rain starts pouring again. This time the sky is much darker.
(Thunderstorm)
Rin: "You can sleep upstairs I'll be fine on my own."
Yuu: "T-Thank you, you were so kind to me. If only I can repay your kindness."
Rin: "fufu"
Yuu: "By the way, you live here alone ?"
Rin: (nods) "Yup" (sips tea)
Yuu: "I wish I could be like you"
Rin: "Maybe someday you will...once you grow up."
Rin gets up to take the cups.
Yuu: "I'm sorry but...can you sleep with me ?"
She was surprised
Yuu: "I always sleep with big sis, without her...I just can't sleep. I'm...scared."
Rin: "Umm...okay"
She went on to wash the dishes.
Yuu stood next to the stairway. Looking up it's really dark and the sound of the heavy rain only brings more discomfort to Yuu.
As they go up, they hear scratches coming from one of the cabinets outside the bedroom.
Yuu: (terrified) "W-What's that noise !"
Rin: "Sshh !"
Rin opens the cabinet, it's a rat struggling to get away from Rin's home-made mousetrap.
Yuu: "Eek !"
Yuu was so horrified that she hugged Rin tightly.
Rin: "Calm down it's just a rat."
Yuu: "S-Sorry"
Rin: (hugs her back) "Don't worry... I'll take care of it tomorrow."
She closed the cabinet and they proceed to go to bed.
Rin gives her a blanket.
Yuu: "Thanks. I really wish I could go home as soon as possible. Big sis may be worried by now. She may be feeling scared too."
Rin: "Don't worry once the weather cleared, you can surely go back home. But for now we just have to wait"
Yuu: "Still... I'm glad that you are here with me. I feel safe now."
She fell asleep
Yuu: "Zzz..."
Rin: "Good night"
Rin gazes at the sleeping Yuu, she caress her smooth hair.
Fufu... How cute...you remind me so much of lil sis.
Yuu-chan...
The sleeping Yuu turns, unconsciously hugging her. Rin blushed as she see her smiling in her sleep.
Rin: "Yuu-chan..."
She moves closer to Yuu.
Rin: "My...Yuu-chan"
