The Death of Cletus Kasady

Six months ago, Spider-Man had defeated Cletus Kasady, AKA Carnage, and separated him from the Carnage Symbiote, spawn of the Venom Symbiote. While the Carnage Symbiote was put into SHIELD custody, Cletus Kasady was sentenced to death for his crimes, and was sent to Empire State Death Row to be executed via electric chair. Oh yeah, they brought back Old Sparky for him. Kasady of course made those next few months miserable for everyone in the prison. Then came the day of his execution. Cletus was then put into the electric chair, his arms and legs strapped into Old Sparky. Oh yes, he knew his time was up. And yet Kasady didn't even give a damn. He didn't even want a priest to say a prayer for him. The people in attendance were the family members of the victims that Kasady had killed before he became Carnage, and during his bloody reign as the monster. Also in attendance was J. Jonah Jameson and Betty Brant, they were there to report on his impending death. The captain of the guards, a man named Geoff Romita walked up front and said, "Roll on one." The other guards turned on the lights, getting ready to activate Old Sparky. Geoff then looked at Kasady and said, "Cletus Kasady, you have been condemned to die by a jury of your peers, sentence imposed by a judge in good standing in this state.  Do you have anything to say before your sentence is carried out?"

"As a matter of fact, I do," stated Kasady, "I'm not sorry for all the deaths I've caused! Life is meaningless and futile! Laws are just words that don't mean shit! I've enjoyed spreading chaos through random, un-patterned bloodshed. It has been the ultimate freedom for me! I put those worthless maggots out of their misery and freed them. If I could do it all over again, I gladly would! So go ahead and kill me sonny, I don't give a fuck! I'll be back. I always come back! And when I come back, there's gonna be carnage!" One of the victim's family members said, "You're going to Hell, asshole!" Cletus laughed and said, "That's not what your girlfriend said!" Geoff grunted and said, "Put the damn sponge and cloak on him already..." The gaurds then put a wet sponge of brine on Cletus's head, and covered his face with a black cloak. Then the cap covered the top part of his head. "Cletus Kasady," stated Geoff, "electricity will be sent to your head until you die. May God have mercy on your soul. ROLL ON TWO!" Cletus laughed as the guard then triggered the electric chair, electrocuting him. He laughed, though his cackling reduced as he groaned in pain. Two minutes later, his body went limp. "Alright, stop!" ordered Romita, and the electric chair stopped. The doctor came in, and checked Cletus's heartbeat with a stethoscope. The doctor couldn't hear a heartbeat. "He's as dead as a door-nail," confirmed the doctor. Cletus Kasady was officially dead.
