A/N: Sorry for the late update, I was very busy today. I hope you still enjoy it.

Auden's Pov:

"We'll finish this conversation later,'' Those words echoed in my head for the rest of the night.

I tried to ignore those words and the added question of when later would be by playing video games for the rest of the night. I needed something to distract me from Max whining about calling Roger back.

I didn't want to scare off Roger anymore than he already is, which requires giving him space. Of all the ways to meet my mates, I never thought it would be a life-threatening situation.

I thought it would be casual like taking a walk in a park and I just so happen to spot them. Or meeting them at the grocery store because our charts bumped into each other.

I never thought that I would be blessed with more than one mate, that was a sweet surprise. Four mates, two humans, a vampire, and some powerful creature.

The next time I find Gannon, I have to ask him what is he? I could track him down now and get my answer, with that thought in mind I grabbed my phone.

Checking the time, the numbers of four-thirty am stared back at me. I narrowed my eyes before looking out at the window of my apartment, at the dark sky peeking through the curtains.

I pushed down a yawn that tried to force its way out of my throat, as I turned off my game system. After turning off the TV, I walked over to my bedroom and flopped on the bed ready for some much-needed sleep.

The next day while on my way to work, I couldn't help but bask in the afterglow of having met my soulmates. So of course, I can't help but sing a little under my breath, "All those days chasing down a daydream, all those years living in a blur, all that time never truly seeing."

My singing became interrupted when I got closer to my job. I knew that if Damon was here as well she'd get all pissy about my singing.

I shook my head as I decided that I wouldn't let her tear down my good mood. I found my soulmates and nothing can top that information.

Pulling out my security card, I wiped it and waved at the camera. The little red light switched to green, giving me entrance to the place.

I pulled the steel door opened and walked into the familiar building. It was nothing special just red bricks stacked together.

There are changing rooms, a weapons room, chill area, the debriefing room and of course the boss's office. That is where I was headed since I rarely had to go to the debriefing room.

It was only for group missions and I worked better alone. A sharp whistle that only the boss could achieve caught my attention.

A low growl leaves me because I knew that whistle came from the debriefing room. I dragged my feet as I walked into the room to see the table, the chairs, the whiteboard, the boss and Damon.
