Witches, Warlocks, and Confessions
3 years before the bombs

Time feels as if it's flying by us these days, it has only been a month since Micheal and I started living at the academy and we finally feel at home again.

The warlocks are really nice and Micheal loves it here, we always hangout when he isn't practicing, he made friends too, specifically a warlock named Peter and I'm so happy about that. We all eat and spend our free time together. Ariel has rules here, but they are much easier for me to fallow than I did Ms. Mead's. The fact that I didn't even know males were capable of magic, when I was with the witches is weird. I still can't understand why they were hardly spoken of, if at all at my old academy, but I'm thankful they exist so Micheal can figure out what he is truly capable of.

A warlock is not as powerful as witch, but Ariel teaches the students at this school to never give up and conquer they're true abilities and to be proud of themselves for it. Which is something I respect regardless if the warlocks are inferior or not.

I just feel bad for not being truthful with them. I want to tell Micheal the truth before Ariel and the rest of the council. It's nice i'm not being treated any less for being a female ether, that's something was afraid of..I hope when I tell them I'm a witch, they won't look at me any different.

"Hey. How you doing?" Micheal walks into my room and I jump up from the bed and wrap my arms around him. He stumbles back a bit and puts his hands on my waist to steady himself, "Woah! what's that all about?" He laughs.
"You've been in class for hours, I haven't had any time with you today." I groan into his shoulder.

"Well I'm here now." He smooths our the back of my hair.
"And.." I look up at him, "We need to talk about something."

"Yeah," he lightly chuckles, "I have something to say too," He comes around to sit on the bed beside me, "You make that dress look stunning." He refers to the old Victorian styled black dress Behold gave me earlier.
I smile big, "Yeah? Well I like a man in uniform." I refer to his academy uniform, "When are you free? Peter and I wanted us to go out and do something before dinner starts."

He rolls his eyes a bit, "Yeah. About Peter. I don't think I want to hangout with him anymore."

I give him a strange look, "But why? You guys have become so close."
He shrugs, "Listen-" he sighs and holds my shoulders, "Things are looking up for me and I don't want to disappoint the council. My magic is growing and I don't want any distractions."
