Four walls. One door. One window.
The cell feels like all the girl's ever known.
Cold, dark and depressing; with no one to speak a word...

Sojourn Pt. 1
"I know this is asking a lot, but it's the only shot we have. We may have won this time, but he will come back."
"I can't do it. Not after.."
"I tried Akauri, I really did but-"
"Well maybe if you hadn't killed one of the only other people he really cared about than-" she cuts me off.
"You have one last chance, I couldn't talk any sense into him, but maybe you can. I was wrong, there's is still humanity left in that man. I can see it." Cordelia tells me.
I'm completely numb to her words. I stood by and watched the only mother he ever had, that actually have a shit about him, burn to death. I'm told to do what's right instead of what I want. I'm told to find him, and be with him again and help him heal. And that's all I wanted before, was a second chance to turn him back to the good person I knew. But what if I can't? What if that chapter of my life is closed for good? What if I can't find him? Do I even want to see him again?
"Akauri-"
I lift my head to meet Cordelia's sparkling eyes.
"I know you have your doubts. But everyone here has your back." Her soft smile still doesn't make a change to the expression on my face.
I shut my eyes for a moment and take a deep breath before speaking, "Which way did he go?"
✞✞✞
Divination. That was the power I used to find him. I walked hours into the woods, passing trees and wildlife before ever spotting another human being. And it was him. Micheal. Dirty and dehydrated, from sitting in the inverted pentagram he'd made in the dirt, for at least four days. He hasn't eaten or showered in that long. I could tell he was tired, scruff on his face and the bags under his eyes holding hurt from the damaged little boy I once knew.
He chuckles a little bit when he sees me, "I-is it really you angel?"
I roll my eyes, he must have been hallucinating. "What the fuck are you doing out here?"
He was shivering in the warmth of the hot summer air as the sun rises behind us. He blinks and swallows hard before looking over the ground at the symbol he'd made. He looked as if he could pass out any second as he glances back up at me, "I'm trying to contact my father."
I sigh and try my best to look anywhere else but at him, as he tried to focus on my figure standing over him. I glare at him and shake my head, "Get up."
