Chapter Thirty Seven

Next day, Mahir wakes up and finds himself in his room. He sees Shravani coming out of the washroom after taking bath. He is surprised as all he could remember is having a wild love making session with Bela in a hotel room.

Mahir: Mai yaha kaise aya hu?

Shravani: Aap yahi toh the kal se... What do you mean by mai yaha kaise?

Mahir: Kuch nahi...

He runs inside washroom and switches on shower even staying in clothes. All he can think of is the pleasure he got from his Bela the previous night.

Mahir: Wo kya tha? Bela aur mai hotel me... Toh fir mai yaha kaise? And... What if its dream? Nahi... Ye dream kaise ho sakta hai? I was drinking yesterday aur jab shravani aake mujhe force karne lagi toh I just went away from home... Lekin ye sab... Bela kaha hai? Is she alright? I need to talk to her now.

Mahir comes out of the shower, dresses up and then calls Bela continuously but she keeps rejecting the call.

Mahir shouts: Beellaaaa uthao phone!

Mahir again calls Bela but this time Juhi picks up but Mahir is unknown about it. He starts speaking immediately,

Mahir: Bela, batao na kal rat tum mere sath hotel room me thi na....

Juhi: Mahir! Listen! Bela tumhare sath nahi thi aur wo apne ghar pe hi thi.

Mahir: Juhi phone Bela ko do please...

Juhi: Nahi dungi... Kyunki wo khud baat nahi karna chahti hai...

Mahir pleads but Juhi cuts the call and looks at the crying Bela.

Mahir: Aaahhh! Ye Bela ko phone kyu nahi de rahi hai? Mujhe jaanna hai ki kal raat wahi mere sath thi ya nahi... Please bela... Baat karo mujhse!

Juhi: Bahut din baad tum sahi faisla li ho Bela...

Bela cries: toh mai kya karti juhi? Mai tumhe dia hua waada toh nahi tod sakti na... Kal rat mera Mahir ke sath hona zarurat thi usse meri, lekin I didn't know baat utni badh jayegi.

Juhi: Its ok Bela... Jo hua so hua. Apna khayal rakho. And kal raat jo baat badh gayi thi aage kabhi badhne mat dena.

Bela: Hmmm... Please leave me alone for sometime.

Juhi: Ok.

Bela smiles recalling how they made love being conscious and after knowing that she is bela only. Bela feels very happy.

Few weeks pass by and one day in Sehgal house, when Mahir comes back from office, he sees his room decorated. His anger rises to its peak.

Mahir: What the hell! Ye kya tamasha laga rakha hai mere kamre me...?

Shravani: Mahir please... I love you... I need you... And...

Mahir: Shut up! Just shut up! How dare you do this? Tumhe ek insaan ko unke privacy dena nahi aata kya?

Shravani: Mahir maine kya galti ki hai? Mai itni din toh chup thi... Especially uss rat ke baad jab...

Mahir: What? What do you mean by uss rat ke baad?

Shravani: Mahir don't act like you don't know...

Mahir: Come clear!

Shravani: That night you made love to me very passionately aur aaj tum...

Mahir: What the f*ck!

Shravani: I am saying truth and ab hamare paas uss truth ka saboot bhi hai.

Mahir: Means?

Shravani: i am pregnant!

Mahir: What? 😱

Shravani: Mahir yaad karne ki koshis karo... Uss rat tum piye hue the aur fir tum mere kareeb aye i love you bela kehte hue...

Mahir: just stop it...

Shravani: Aur ham uss din... Apne pyar ke saare hade paar kie aur...

Mahir: Nahi... Ye nahi ho sakta... Mai tumhare sath... Nahi... Mai sirf usse pyar karta hu... Sirf usse... I just love her... I hate you!

Shravani starts faking tears.

Shravani: Mahir please dont say like this Mahir... I love you!

Saying this, Shravani falls unconscious and falls on the bed. Mahir becomes tensed. He tries waking her up but she doesn't wake up. So finally he calls doctor. Seeing doctor arrive, everyone ask questions to Mahir who informs them about Shravani being unconscious.

Sumi: Tu fir se usko pareshan kia na Mahir? T
Jab usse pyar nahi karta toh shadi kyu ki? Uss shravani se hi shaadi kar lete... Hai wo ek number ki giri hui ladki aur tu uske peeche pagal hoke ghoom raha hai

Mahir shouts: Maa please... Abhi fir se shuru mat ho jaiye...

Mahir takes doctor to his room while everyone follow him. Doctor checks Shravani and says, " Ghabrane wali koi baat nahi hai. Its just bp problem. Pregnancy me aisa hota rehta hai. "

Sumi: Pregnancy?

Doctor: So aapko abhi tak nahi pata? She is pregnant aur isi wajah se unko weakness and low bp hai. But that's natural. Please take care of her.

Doctor leaves while Mahir gets shocked!
