I often have stupid dreams which I can't make head nor tail of and neither could anyone else should I tell them. I often dream of my parents and although this is upsetting as they both died some years ago, (I loved them both with all my heart and soul) it is so nice to be in their presence if only in a dream. My dreams are so real, I have to remember (in the dream) that they have both passed on and I'm not really with them. I have, at times, woken up in the morning and then remembered they are not here any more and it's really horrible.
My eldest grandson is almost 18 years old... where does the time go? My dad died when he was 6 weeks old and my mum died three years later, but even now, it still feels like yesterday. Time is a strange thing.
Lately, I have had blood tests which show I have a borderline high cholesterol level which is 42. The doctors say that 42 – 49 is the 'pre diabetes' level, obviously I don't want to get diabetes so therefore I have been thinking how I can lower this without medication. Having no will power whatsoever, is no help at all!
I measured my waist and found it to be 33" which is one inch above the desired measurement and takes me into the 'heading for a heart attack' group supposedly! Also, my blood pressure is higher than it should be. I do breathing exercises, which does bring it down, but not as low as the doctors prefer. I am now taking a 5 mg BP tablet and hope that this works. I resisted this for a long time as these tablets often make me feel ill, but so far so good.
With all of these thoughts in mind, I dreamt of my mum and dad the other night. We were on the top of a double decker bus and were talking. I asked my mum:
"What is Heaven like?" (Wouldn't we all like to know?) and she replied
"We are not allowed pudding, it's fattening."
Ha, ha, ha! Isn't that funny? I've laughed all week about it!
May be my mother is trying to tell me something?
