Tayler had still been in a foul mood that morning, banging things and mumbling incoherently under his breath, i ignored him and simply got ready, wearing my checkered pants with a yellow graphic tee shirt and some vans. Tayler and I still hadn't spoken, the car ride was unbearably awkward until we got the house, Griffen and Noen were at
"Yo Tay!" a tall boy, Griffen, said
"Yo bro" Tayler greeted back
"and you must be Melody?" he smiled giving me a hug
"Griffen?" i asked making him nod "has anyone ever told you you look like one of the Dolan Twin's?"
"always" Griffen laughed "but! the dolan twin's arn't nurses like me"
"no way!" i squealed
"yes way!" Griffen impersonated "how about i show you my things and tell you the nastiest surgery i had to sit in"
I nodded with bright eyes as Griffen pulled me into the house, he lead me upstairs to his room where he laid his scrubs out and showed me the ID badge, which looked better than any school photo i'd ever taken
"Then he accidentally knicked his spleen and this river of blood just came gushing out onto the floor and i was just standing there, frozen and paralysed in absolute disgust at this pool that was growing under our feet until one of the nurses nudged me to go get a mop and I had to clean it!" Griffen cringed
"Legend!" i said inbetween laughs
a knock at the door grabbed our attention as Taylor walked in
"we ordered pizza, and we got a movie if you guys wanna join Noen, Abbie and I?" He said in a cold voice
"sure, we'll be down in a second" Griffen said
I got up and grabbed my shoes, hopping downstairs in my socks before going to the kitchen
"You didn't tell me she was this aesthetic Tayler!" Noen shrieked when i turned the corner "oh my gosh and she looks better in person"
I giggled, looking down at my socks
"Hi, i'm Noen and you're Melody, i think we're meant to be" Noen said sticking his hand out
"meant to be best friends, is what he means" a girl said "i'm Abbie"
"Melody" I smiled giving her outstretched hand a shake
For the rest of the time we sat on the couch, watching Tall Girl and making jokes around each other as well as videos. Tayler stayed on the furtherest side of the couch, not talking to me and laughing at any joke anyone else made.
"I think you guys should stay, it's pretty late" Abbie said looking outside
"Sure, i'll bunk with Griff" Tayler said and made his way upstairs
"Guess you're stuck with me" Abbie smiled
