I sighed and removed the now dying flowers in the vase of water before replacing them with the ones i just recently bought on my way in. I greet the nurse taking in Tayler's vitals and kept myself busy by tidying the side table
Once she left i took my usual seat, next to Tayler, his right hand in mine. I looked over his face the purple bruises had now fully healed at the cuts were now scabs. His arm was slowly healing, for the next 4 weeks he had to keep the cast on and that was if he woke up
I was knocked out of my thoughts by a slight knock at the door, i turned to see Anthony standing there with a sheepish smile and some mc donald's
"don't tell me avani sent you over with food" i said eying him
"okay then, i won't" he said pulling a chair in next to me "a double quarter pounder no cheese, ginger beer mc fizz, large fry and apple pie for m'lady"
"you honestly shouldn't have" i said giving him a small smile
"well i did and now you kinda have to eat because do you want me to have wasted all my money for nothing" he pouted
"all your money? boy you're like famous!" i joked
"i'm serious, that was all my savings" he said laughing
"lie again Ant!" i said
"you're pretty" he said making me smack his arm
"i'll have you know i am very aware of my facial disadvantage" i said
"is that shakespearean for being ugly?" he asked making me laugh
Anthony and I continued to joke around, finishing the food completely before the nurse came in to inform us that visiting time was over and that i had to leave tonight. I nodded and made my way back home
"So the lunch date was successful?" Avani asked
"yes, very clever of you to send your boyfriend" I smirked
"i mean he's a ball of happiness personified. he could make a brick wall smile so i figured" Avani smiled
"so you admit he's your boyfriend" I eyed
"stop trying to change the subject"
