I've had a journey, a long journey,
A journey with my skin,
A journey with myself,
Acne takes all my confidence away,
Because I see it before I see anything else,
And I want to laugh loudly and talk,
but people will look,
And all they'll see is the bumps on me,
Not the smile I'll give them but the scarred skin,
The redness from inflammation is all they'll see,
But I try to stay strong,
I try to believe it will go and one day,
Ill be confident again and my patience will pay,
But
It is a difficult journey...
