middle
of the

in the morning -
morning.
yesterday's
supposed
to be
gone
and so are
all the days
before
there's
supposed
to be
a new
dawn
a new
day
a new life
and I should
get some rest
to be ready
-
But I can't
fall back
asleep
because
yesterday
is drowning
me
there'll always be
a new
dawn

but never a new life -
not for me.

drowning
lying
on the ground
of an ocean

and the days
