Yoongi passed by a coffee shop and somehow, his feet brought him inside the coffee shop. Automatically, he lined up in front of the counter. "What would you like to order sir?" The waiter asked. "One Latte." Yoongi ordered. Somehow his stomach coiled, he felt uneasy, weird. "Is that all sir?" The waiter asked. "One Latte and one Americano." Yoongi blurted. With that, he felt his stomach relaxed, though he's very confuse why he had ordered an Americano. He quietly sat on a seat as he waits for his coffees.

Jennie walked along the street. Her mind's blank as she stared at the floor while walking. A scarf wrapped around her slender neck as she held another scarf tightly on her grip. The autumn season is near, Jennie knew that well. However, before she left her house, her gut somehow screamed at her to bring another scarf. Indeed, it's very windy and chilly, but she never understands why she needs an extra scarf. And she actually felt very stupid for trusting her gut..

Yoongi got out of the coffee shop, both hands holding the coffees, he blankly let his legs drag him anywhere. He thought about the incident just now, which occured almost all his brain space that he did not focus on where he is going. Why would he want an Americano when barely drinks it?

Just then, they both arrived in front of the same bus station they met yesterday.

"No way.."
"This must be a coincidence."

"I never thought I'll see you here again, Jennie Kim." Min Yoongi chuckled. "So do I, Min Yoongi." Jennie Kim replied. They chuckled before settling down on a bench in the bus station. Naturally, he passed the Americano to her. She was surprised at the gesture at first, but she accept it. (Let's be honest, who'll say no to free food/drink -^-) "How did you know I like Americano? How did you even know I'll be here today?" Jennie asked. Yoongi sipped his hot caffeine, warming up his cold lips. "I don't." He replied shortly. "Wait, were you stalking me?!" Jennie asked. Yoongi slightly choked. "Definitely not." Yoongi manage to choked out. "I mean, I am beautiful." Jennie joked as she flipped her hair. Yoongi rolled his eyes, "Don't be too full of yourself." "Oh so you're saying I'm ugly?" Jennie asked. "That's not what I meant." Yoongi quickly defended. "Hm, but that doesn't mean you dont stalk other girls." Jennie said whlist squinting her eyes at Yoongi. "I don't stalk girls, jeez." Yoongi sighed. "Then you stalk boys?!" Jennie asked. Yoongi exhaled a long sigh. "You're annoying." Yoongi groaned. "You're gay." Came a reply from Jennie. The wind blew again, silence entered the atmosphere between them. "So.. you're joining the basketball competition next week?" Jennie asked. "Well, yeah, obviously." Yoongi replied coldly. "Oh, right, ahhaha.." Jennie awkwardly replied. "Will you be there to watch it?" Yoongi asked with pure sincere in his tone. Jennie shot up her head to glance at him, but only to realised Yoongi is already staring at her. "Well, if you don't mind. I've nothing to do anyways." Jennie replied. Yoongi smiled softly. "I don't, I'll be very happy if you actually come and watch it." Yoongi said. Jennie, without her realisation, smiled very brightly.

Wait.
Did I just smiled?
What the fuck just happened????

Both their smiles immediately disappeared as they just realised, they'd smiled. They'd finally smiled after a long time, a real one. Their world was destroyed; she felt tortured, he felt broken. And yet, the made each other smile in their darkest moment. Just then, a thunder roared as the wind howled loudly. They shivered, Yoongi stood up and Jennie following in suit. "I need to leave before it rains." Yoongi said. The cold wind blew past him as he immediately buried his hands into his pockets. "Yoongi wait!" Jennie called out for him before he left. He turned to meet her eyes. She then took out her extra scarf and wrapped it around his pale neck. He stared at her as she wrapped the scarf around him, her scent immediately reaching his buttoned nose. "There, it'll be very chilly later on, this should keep you warm." Jennie said. He instantly felt warm, his gaze never left her's. "Welp, I'll be going now. See ya around Yoongs!" Jennie waved him goodbye. She left, he watched her leaving before going to the opposite direction. Despite the screeching wind around his environment, Yoongi knew he could not ignore his increasing heartbeat in his chest..

Just as Jennie entered her house, a slap flew across her cheek. "You useless whore, where were you when I needed food?!" Her step-father yelled. Jennie kept quiet, and that angers her step-father more. "WHERE. WERE. YOU?!" He yelled as he kicked her. Jennie stumbled onto the floor, the pain on her abdomen is unbearable. Her step-father continues to hurt her as she pleaded for him to stop.

H-Help.. Please..
Eomma.. Appa..

Yoongi closed the door behind him before he came face-to-face with his mother.
"Eomma-"
"Where did you went?!" His mother screeched. "I just went to grab a drink." Yoongi coldly replied. "You could've use that time to study couldn't you?! You could have just-" His mother stopped, her eyes landed on the scarf wrapped around his neck. Yoongi noticed, but before he could explain, his mother began to scream at him. "DIDN'T I TOLD YOU YOU'RE NOT ALLOWED TO HAVE A GIRLFRIEND?!" His mother screamed. "I know." Yoongi replied. "Girlfriends girlfriends, why do you even need one?! They won't love you, they're just using for fame and money! After they got what they want, they'll just dump you and leave you to rot, they'll think you're useless to them, like you already are.." Yoongi coiled with anger, her words snapped his patience. "Just because you don't want to date, doesn't mean I shouldn't. Also, I don't even have a girlfriend." He snapped. Glaring at his mother, Yoongi ran upstairs to the attic angrily, leaving his mother lost of words.

Yoongi sat in the corner of the room with his headphones on. He listened to the lullaby that his mother used to sings to him when he was a child, it always manage to calm him down. He hugged the scarf as he stared blankly at the empty ceiling that is decorated with the colour white. Without his realisation, he nuzzled into the scarf, sniffing the strong scent that lingers on the scarf. It surprisingly made him feel secured, warm, loved..

Jennie leaned against the door as she continues to cry hardly. The pain in her abdomen is still haunting her, but she tries to ignore it. She felt useless, helpless, alone.. Just then, her phone vibrated. Sniffling, she checked to see what it was despite her cracked screen on her phone.

"Hey, when do I return your scarf?"
"It's Yoongi here by the way."

Jennie sniffled, as she began to type a text.

"If you don't mind.."
"Can I keep it?"

Jennie's eyes widen. He wants what?! She re-reads the message again, indeed, Min Yoongi wants her scarf.

"Sure, you can keep it."
"I'd tons of them anyways :)"

"You don't mind?"

"Nah, I don't. Take it as a repay for the coffee."
"It looks good on you anyways."

"Ahh, thanks."
"Sorry if I sounded like a creep."

"Aniya, it's fine."

"Also.."
"Let's hang out more often :)"

A smile immediately spread across her lips, a real one.

"Sure."
"I enjoyed alot today anyways, thanks Yoongs :))"

And she meant it.

"No prob."

"Hey."

"?"

"Good luck for your competition."

Yoongi smiled. He turned off his phone as he stared at the twinkling stars outside his window.
Jennie smiled too, she softly wiped her tears as she stared at the bright moon that shone through her window.

Today, tonight, they both flashed their real smile..
