A month has passed since the two saw each other. It has been really busy for Konoha but finally, both of them were given a day off. Naruto became excited as he wanted to see Hinata's face again. He quickly rushed out of his house and headed towards the Hyuuga household.

At the same time, Hinata was in the Hyuuga dojo practising with Hanabi. She really trains hard as she was motivated to become stronger thanks to Naruto.

"Knock, knock!"

"It seems that Naruto has come to visit you nee-san" said Hanabi as she peeked the window

"Eh?Naruto-kun" said Hinata flustered as she went straight to the door.

"Oh, good morning Hinata!" said Naruto as the door open.

"Good morning Naruto-kun. What brings you here?" smiled Hinata

"Uh, do you want to go for a walk? I have something to tell you" said Naruto shyly as he scratched his head. Hinata started to blush as she wondered about the "thing" Naruto wanted to tell her.

"Alright, I'll tell Hanabi that I'm leaving first" she said happily as she dissapeared into the house. Naruto stood at the entrance waiting as he became nervous thinking of how he will say his confession.

After a while, Hinata came back dressed in her casual clothes. "Let's go!" smiled Hinata. Naruto smiled back and they both walked out.

Somewhere in Konoha, Naruto and Hinata kept walking without any conversation. The two looked nervous and slightly blushed. From afar, anyone could tell the awkwardness in between them.

"That baka Naruto, what is he doing?!" whispered Sakura as she clenched her fists. "I think it'll take a long time before the big show starts" yawned Shikamaru. "Wait, why am I dragged along with you guys" said Ino. The three of them were hiding behind a bush observing Naruto and Hinata silently.

"So...Hinata" said Naruto.

"Yes?"

Naruto took a deep breath. "Actually, these days I've been feeling a bit strange. As if, there was something choking my heart."

"Are you alright Naruto?" said Hinata worrily

"Heh, actually I already know the cause of this" smiled Naruto as he stopped and turned towards Hinata.

"This feeling, I realized it was you" said Naruto as he gripped Hinata's hands.

"E-eh?" Hinata became confused but she could hear her heartbeat beating louder than a drum.

"I LIKE YOU HINATA! GO OUT WITH ME!" shouted Naruto as he smiled.

Hinata's face grew redder than ever but she could tell from Naruto's eyes that he was telling the truth. She held Naruto hands and said "Actually, I've liked you since the beginning" smiled Hinata. "I know, you've always been watching me" said Naruto

Naruto suddenly pulled Hinata towards his arms and hugged her. "So, will you go out with me?" whispered Naruto

Hinata nodded as she tried to hide her visible blushes. She sniffed Naruto's hair and closed her eyes.

"SHANNARO NARUTO! You finally did it!" yelled Sakura happily

"Oi, you're too loud!" said Ino

Naruto and Hinata both turned their attention towards the bush and saw Sakura, Shikamaru and Ino crouching. The two blushed.

"Now look what you've done, how troublesome" shrugged Shikamaru as he got up.

"You guys...were WATCHING?!" said Naruto flustered.

"S-sakura, ino and shikamaru-kun..." said Hinata softly as she was flustered as well.

"Ah...whoops" said Sakura as she let her tougue out.

"Guys, runnn!!" shouted Sakura as the three of them quickly dissapeared.

Naruto and Hinata were left standing, shocked.

"Well, looks like everyone's going to know our relationship now" smiled Naruto as he held Hinata's hand.

"But that's okay. What matters is seeing Naruto-kun much, more" smiled Naruto.

"Heh heh" Naruto giggled.

As days passed, Naruto and Hinata would meet everyday. However, as time passed, things became busy and they couldnt see each other very often. On the other hand, Sasuke came back to Konoha every two months to update the village and met with Sakura. Chouji was often sent for missions to the Cloud Village and Karui was always his guide. There were rumours that a relationship has eloped between the two. Shikamaru was placed on the responsibility as a diplomat to the Sand Village and Temari became his guide. It was stated that the two had a love-hate relationship. Ino struggled between duties as a ninja and managing her family's florist. Sai would often come by to buy flowers but there was obviously a motive behind it.

Days eventually turned to months. Months turned to years. The world was at peace and the Chuunin Exams begun. It was an important event for Naruto as he was the only genin among his friends.
