Naruto and Hinata, Their Story

Part 8: Parenthood

It has been nearly a year since Uzumaki Boruto was born. Naruto has taken time off as Hokage to take care of Boruto together with Hinata. "Ack!" shouted Naruto as Boruto kicked his face. "M..ma...mama!" shouted Boruto as he freely kicked his legs. "Honey, I think Boruto loves you more than me haha" laughed Naruto as he carried Boruto. "I'm sure he loves his father too" smiled Hinata as she gave Naruto a bottle of milk. "Alright! Boruto, time to eat!" said Naruto as he fed Boruto his milk. "Whew, at least he becomes quiet when he eats" sighed Naruto as he smiled and rubbed Hinata's belly. Hinata was expecting another child. "You should rest honey" said Naruto. "Alright" said Hinata as she carefully sat on the couch. "I heard Rock Lee and Tenten are expecting a child as well!" grinned Naruto. "At least, our child will have a friend of the same age" smiled Hinata. Boruto has already finished his milk and starts to kick his father. "Okay, okay. I'll let you go Boruto" said Naruto as he carefully placed him onto the floor. "He's so eager to walk" giggled Hinata. Boruto started to stand and slowly walked towards his mother. Hinata reached her arms out for Boruto as he staggerly walked but in the end falls down. But suddenly, he gets up and reaches Hinata's arms. "Wow, Boruto doesn't give up!" said Naruto proudly as he observed him. Hinata held Boruto and kissed his forehead. Boruto smile and blabbered a baby's language. Both Naruto and Hinata laughed.

As days went by, being a parent wasn't easily. However, they would often met up with their friends who had children as well. Boruto and Sarada would often get into fights and steal each other toys. The future Ino-Shika-Cho would play very well with each other, Inochi, Shikidai and ChoCho. The old friends would gather together and talk about their old times. Soon, months went and Hinata went into labor. This time however, Naruto remained calm as he has experienced this before. He properly wore his medical attire and sat right next to Hinata tightly holding her hands. Coincidentally, Tenten went into labor as well but Rock Lee was flustered and had no idea what to do. Soon, a baby cry was heard and Naruto looked up at his newborn child. "A daughter, Hokage-sama" said the nurse. Naruto smiled as he wiped Hinata's sweat. "Himawari..." said Hinata softly as she almost slept due to exhaustion. "She'll be named Uzumaki Himawari!" grinned Naruto proudly. 

As Naruto and Hinata were quite experienced in parenthood, they knew how to take care of Himawari. Boruto at first, often bullied his younger sister but as he grew older, he took good care of her like an older brother. Boruto inherited his father's blonde hair and his outgoing personality while Himawari inherited her mother's black hair and shy personality. However, both children inherited the strong genes of the Uzumaki and Hyuuga. As time passed, Naruto became busy as Hokage and struggle between work and family. Hinata as well was busy as a kunoichi and felt worried to leave her children behind. Boruto and Himawari were often taken care by Iruka-sensei.

Both Naruto and Hinata felt the need to be the attention to their children but they cannot due to their busy work.
