Early mini-update for you guys! The next two updates are pretty intense. So here's a lil fluff before everything goes to shit.

Stars danced around each-other in a yellow haze. Ribbons of emerald green and dark blue swirled together, intertwining themselves with the yellow stars, and joining the large puffy bands of space dust spinning around and around in a dreamy smog. All this created a large galaxy which I happened to be looking at.

I was too busy staring at the stars in awe to wonder how on earth I was alive, and why I was in outer space, and how I was still breathing.

"You're awake!"

I startled, looking away from the galaxy, only to find that I was in a bed, in a room, and The Doctor was standing in front of me with a tired smile on his face.

Confused, I glanced back up. The galaxy that I had first seen was still there, and still brilliant as ever.

I looked back at The Doctor, and then again up at the galaxy.

My bewilderment must have been clear, as The Doctor chuckled softly.

"This is your bedroom." He said, gesturing around at somewhat messy room, "and that," he pointed to the ceiling, "is the galaxy ESO 350-40. I added it a while ago as a-" There was a soft sort of happy look on his face, "well," he rubbed his face, sitting down next to me, "guess that's spoilers."

I nodded, looking up at the colorful galaxy, and then glancing back at The Doctor. Deciding to address the elephant in the room, I asked him what had been weighing on my mind ever since he walked into my room.

"How am I alive?"

The expression on The Doctor's face morphed into sadness, I almost felt bad for asking. But he obliged my question, and answered honestly.

"That Dalek was deformed-- they were survivors of the time war and.. well.." He sighed, "it was injured, didn't have enough power to kill you, but that's not to say you weren't hurt." He added, looking at me sternly, "you scared me."

I winced at his expression, "sorry."

He shrugged it off, bringing a smile back to his face, "lots of rest for you, then. that is- until you go off again."

I nodded, not having the energy to fight The Doctor's orders, and snuggled down further into my bed. Letting my eyes close, and sleep take me away.

When I woke up again, I was sitting in a plush leather couch facing a soft yellow fire. The flames emulated warmth IDFK.

The Doctor sat beside me, buried in a book.

"Oh," he noticed I was awake. "how are you feeling?"

I rubbed my tired eyes, "um- okay- I guess"

"That's good," He nodded, almost as if to convince himself that it really was alright, and turned back to his book.

I took a breath, glancing around at the massive library, "erm-" I started uncertainly, "why am I here?"

The Doctor looked up at me and raised his eyebrows, "you jumped here," he explained, "you were asleep."

I frowned, "do I jump in my sleep often?"

He shut his book and carefully set it on the table, cover facing down, "not really, you only jump in your sleep when you've been injured."
