Gbolahan widened his eyes at was he was seeing, the stance Folarin was using, this was the stance used by warriors of the tribe for a fast thrust of the spear, although he didn't walk the way of spear, as someone who wanted to become a warrior,he knew some things about the weapons and how to wield them, the stance used by Folarin was a basic one but under the right circumstanced, even the most basic of techniques would become deadly but soon Gbolahan calmed down, this was folarin he was talking about, someone who had never bothered to lift a spear before, he was just bluffing with that stance, it was no surprise Folarin knew the stance since a lot of people practice it in the village, there was no way Folarin would actually be profecient in spear techniques but just as that thought came to mind, Tolani made a move, putting strength into his legs, he dashed forward and as he got close to Gbolahan, he let go of one of his hands on the spear and used the other one to thrust the spear forward, Gbolahan eyes narrowed as he saw this, there was only one word to describe this spear thrust, Fast, it was too fast,? Before he had time to raise the club in his hands for defense, the spear already arrived close to his face, not daring to underestimate that strike anymore, he immediately tilted his head but he wasn't fast enough, the spear left a slash across his cheeks as it passed by. Blood flowed out of Gbolahan's cheeks but he ignored it, he kept staring at Folarin in shock, how, how in the world was he so strong, this was the same person that had never picked up a spear? He knew Folarin had died and returned a few days ago, does dieing and resurrecting suddenly make someone useless into a fighter, what also made him astounded was the spear technique Folarin had executed, that was a basic technique used to thrust the spear, while it was deadly, it didn't change the fact that it was still a simple thrust but in Folarin's hands, it was a death scythe that would reap his life if he dared showed any mistakes, he had no doubt that if Folarin had aimed for his body instead of his head, given how wide his body was, he would be impaled by that spear without a doubt, he looked again at Folarin who had gone into the same stance as before ready to launch another one of his attacks, Gbolahan smiled a bit and made up his mind.

Tolani was still immersed in the feeling of using the spear, he instinctively knew what to do as he held the spear, the first thrust towards Gbolahan was to test his reaction speed, he had no doubt he could be even faster if he wanted to be, seeing how Gbolahan had been grazed by the spear, he knew he would not miss a second time, he got into stance again and was about to launch another attack when Gbolahan's voice broke him out of the state he was in "I lost." Immediately Tolani heard those words from Gbolahan, it was like his concentration with the spear was broken, he returned back to normal and blinked his eyes for a few moment unsure of what had just happened, he looked down at the spear in his hand as he thought to himself "Holy shit, what the hell was that, Am i actually an awesome warrior." Even now with his concentration broken, he had a feeling he could still wield the spear the way he had done before, not only that, all sorts of information began appearing in his head about how to use the spear, he immediately became surprised, because the information appearing in head was the same as the spear techniques he had seen that man practicing, he felt like if he wanted, he could use any of those techniques, to test his theory, he raised the spear over his head and swung down, a loud sound was produced like the cry of a bird as the spear swung downwards and as it was close to the ground, he stopped. Everyone around looked at Tolani with absolute shock, even Labi who had been worried about Anu had stopped worrying and was now looking at Tolani, the person in front of her seemed absolutely unfamiliar, that spear technique was something the former Folarin would never be able to execute but what surprised her more was the spear swing, or more accurately, the sound produced by the spear as he swung down. Gbolahan felt like losing his mind right now, he already thought he had been surprised enough today but Folarin had to give him an even bigger shock, cry of the heavens, his spear just produced a cry of the heavens, it is believed that when a warrior reaches perfection in the execution of their technique, the weapon they wielded would produce a sound that resembled the loud cry of a bird, that sound was called The cry of the Heavens, usually only supreme warriors would be able to produce a cry of the heavens and even they would need a suitable weapon to display it but Folarin managed to do it and with a normal flimsy spear, Gbolahan looked at Folarin one more time before walking away, the four boys following him couldn't believe what had happened either but after staring at Folarin for a while, they also left. Meanwhile, the person in question didn't know how much of a shock he had caused to everyone present, he was thinking to himself "Too loud, that was way too loud. I wanted to swing a spear, not become deaf." If others could hear what he was thinking right now, they would probably beat him to death, most warriors practiced their whole life and never managed to produce a cry of the heavens, you did it so easily and yet you dare complain, why was heaven so unfair, soon he broke out of his thoughts and immediately looked around him, noticing Gbolahan was gone, he was slightly angry because he felt he hadn't taught the other person a lesson, he shooked his head and decided to wait until next time, there was no way he wouldn't see Gbolahan again, after all they were in the same village, like the chinese people say, ten years isn't too late for a gentleman to take revenge.

As he walked towards Labi, her heart immediately became unsettled, she found the person in front of her to be unfamiliar, it was still the same face as before but the atmosphere around the person was different, too different. If she had not known Folarin from before, she would most likely insist this was a different person, soon he arrived in front of her and immediately ran towards her, "Are you okay? They didn't do anything to you as well, did they?" She could see the genuine concern and worry on his face, initially when he apologized before, she felt he was playing with her like always and even if he was serious, she had absolutely no intention of forgiving him that easily, this was the man that had given her countless nightmares, there was no way forgiveness was going to come that easily but as she looked at him at this moment with the look of genuine concern on his face, her heart couldn't help but soften and she nodded indicating to him that she was fine, receiving her response, a sigh of relief could be heard from him before he went over to the unconscious Anu and lifted her up. He was about to walk away when he noticed Labi was still sitting on the floor and looking at him with a daze in her eyes, he smiled and said to her, "aren't you coming?" She became embarrassed as she knew she had been staring at him for too long, she immediately stood up, dusted the sand on her clothes and began to walk beside him as they made their way home, as for why he could use those spear techniques, he decided to investigate that matter later.

Stepping into the house, Tolani immediately went to put Anu down on a mat in her room, he looked around the room for a bit and smiled wryly, the room contained a few clothes which was stacked on top of each other and a few necklaces and bangles that was made from some shell like material, in the corner there was some calabash filled with water and a crude statue which depicted a mermaid, he guessed this statue symbolized Yemoja, the godess of rivers and water, at this time Anu came walking in, he turned around and was about to say something to her when he suddenly felt a pain in his chest, his entire body seem to be on fire, this feeling was the same feeling he got when he had arrived and had been buried underground, his chest had given him the exact same feeling except this time it was more intense and he felt it all over his body, not just his chest, he suddenly felt his throat swell up and he spat out whatever it was that was coming out of his body, black blood came flying out of his mouth and splashed on the floor, his consciousness immediately became hazy and he fell down to the floor, the last thing he saw before losing consciousness was Labi running towards him with a worried look on her face.

Slowly his eyes opened, he stood up and looked around and the first thought that came to his mind was "Ok, i am really dead this time for sure." This was because he was found himself standing on the clearest water he had ever seen, this water seemed like a mirror and if he looked down, there was a reflection of himself, in the sky, there was an endless sea of stars, it looked like he was walking in the cosmos, he suddenly turned his head and he saw a giant cube floating in the air, the cube was engraved with scenes of battle between beings that seemed like gods and demons on what side and on another side, a bunch of humans farming and on another side there was another side which depicted a war between two nations, on each side of the cube, a different scene was being depicted and they kept changing as each moment passed by. Tolani looked at the cube and recognized it immediately, it was the same cube that had been in the library he was killed and also the same cube tatooed on his chest but it looked different than when it was in the library, in the library, it was only engraved with few mystical patterns and none of the patterns kept moving as it did now. Suddenly he felt a connection between him and that cube and through the connection, a message was delivered to him by the cube, Tolani looked at the cube and said
"Eye of the gods, you are called Eye of the gods?" A confirmation was sent by cube to him through their connection, Tolani then looked at the cube and said "You are the one that brought me here, right. What are you, where am i, why did you bring me here,? I have a lot of questions and i hope you can answer them for me." Tolani immediately felt an headache assault him as he finished his sentence as a bunch of information flowed into his head, as if the cube knew he would ask all those questions, its immediately sent everything Tolani would want to know over to him, Tolani's headache subsided a bit and he glared at the cube, was it trying to tell him something or kill him, but he soon ignored it and focused on the information he had just received but as he read the first line, he was shocked and looked at the cube again with shock on his face, this was because the first line had read: I am the eye of the gods, a weapon created and used by Orisha Obatala. This was a god's weapon, the cube in front of him was actually the weapon of a god.
