Annabeth POV
A year later
"Oh my Gods Percy!!!!"
Percy being Percy, or should I say "Persassy" (as he likes to call himself) decided it was a good idea to drag me across half of New York just because he thought there was a blue cookie mix in his favorite store "Everything Blue?"
Which is exactly as the name suggests.
Everything and I mean EVERYTHING is blue. The walls, the ceiling, the decor, the clothing, the uniforms, every-single-thing.
He decided to go here every day this week even though 1) we have no money 2) we're fugitives and 3) I couldn't resist the look on his face
It was his baby seal face
And I couldn't resist
Anyway we went there for a solid week and Percy kept buying Blue Cookie Mix 😡, over and over
And by the fifth day I knew there would be trouble.
There was this group of conspicuous people that kept trying to look normal but were failing miserably
They were wearing sunglasses and a hat indoors! Who does that if they are trying to look inconspicuous?
Percy decided that moment to but it
" Why are there weird people here?" He asked even though his mouth full of stolen cookies. So it sounded more like "vy r ver were weed eeple mear?"
" Percy be quiet and don't talk with your mouth full, or else no kisses."
He gasped but remained quiet
As I was watching the adults, Percy was being very quiet ( I know surprising) and I tossed to him a specially made blue Hershey kiss, which he devoured after taking off the blue wrapper.
And just at that moment they attacked
People dove for the floor
Blue stuffing was flying everywhere
People running in terror
Lazer beams firing
Sword on Sheild
Kicks in the groin
And some poor cookies destroyed in the process. Which Percy was NOT happy about.
" Hey I stole those cookies first!" He complained as he was using his sword to block laser beams as I was fighting against Captain America
Iron man then said in his robotic voice, "You are under arrest by order of Shield."
" The same people who killed my mom." He gritted through his teeth through anger and effort against Cap's shield
Percy then started to get angrier and angrier and his eyes morphed into a dark black color, and his cute smirk turned into an animalistic snarl as he threw himself upon Iron Man and started to tear apart his armor
Then while he was attacking Iron man, I was facing Cap.
Who to be honest was easy, until he knocked me off my feet and I was on the ground with my dagger at my throat, struggling in his hold
"Hey unless you want me to hurt her I suggest you let go of my friend over there, and set your sword gently on the ground." Cap said
As soon as Percy saw me he immediately stopped and his eyes flashed momentarily to the carefree sea green eyes I know and love
and said "Annabeth" with so much pain and suffering I felt like It was going to rip open my heart before he was knocked unconscious and his eyes rolled up into his head.
I was screaming and sobbing now, " Oh My GODS!!!! PERCY!!! Let go of him!! You're going to hurt him!! You're going to hurt MY SEAWEED BRAIn!!" I struggled against his grip and I broke apart and ran to Percy, Screaming " PERCY!!"
And I was shot in the back of my head with a tranquilizer dart and I fell down and down with no control over my own limbs
Only inches away from his open hand
When the darkness engulfed me and I watched as they took my Seaweed Brain away
