The sun's moon

The creased eyebrows above angry eyes,
And the thin-lined lips,
Scared others from a mile.
And yet the moon always smiled at him.

His smile melted that stone-hard heart.
His laughter filled butterflies in a certain someone's gut,
But it always remained a secret,
Until the head hazer's mask slipped.

He stood in the middle of the playground,
Glowing under the sun's light,
That enhanced the sun-kissed skin.
Another sun stared truly mesmerized.

When the hands were lovingly held,
Lips met in a searing kiss.
Two hearts meld into one,
And just the gears stayed to attest.
