Three Expire in Domestic Conflagration!
Reports have reached that Señor & Señora Orophir and their dear daughter, Marsyal, perished in a raging inferno which consumed their gracious home during the night. Another child, their son, the lucky (nay plucky!), Philippine survived the blaze. While his severe burns are being treated at xxxx infirmary, prospects of his recovery are not at all encouraging. No visitors have come and none are expected. We've learned that measurements for his coffin have been taken, and his departed loved ones, scorched into an unrecoverable ashes.

A Most Reluctant Patient
Lovely little Philippine Orophir, our favorite orphan, the report of whose charred body last appeared in these pages a year ago, has been moved to Rutledge Asylum. His battered and crispy self was judged sufficiently healed for this removal to Rutledge, which is thought best suited to handle his symptoms. Investigation into the cause of fire continues, as do the rumours of Philippine's possible involvement. The doctors say that he's suffering from "severe and pervasive trauma". According to our source at Rutledge, his behaviour is volatile and unpredictable, and he is obviously dangerous to himself and others. We wish Dr. H. Luche, his treating physician, the best of luck--.
