The RedFeatherAward Committee has decided to close the entries for the March contest early and announce a winner out of the existing entries over the next few days.
Following the announcement of a new winner, the RedFeatherAward will be put on hold to release strain on our judges whom are undergoing new issues in their personal life due to COVID-19.
Thus far all members of the committee are healthy and undergoing social isolation, which we encourage the rest of our community to do as well. Please consult your local health authorities on updates for COVID-19 and prevention methods. Stay inside, wash your hands, and get some reading done!
Thank you for understanding. An announcement will be made in the following months as to when the award will be continued, but the pause may last until September or October of 2020.
Again, we would like to extend a big thank you to everyone who has supported and participated in our award. We love discovering the amazing stories you write and sharing them with the rest of our community.

The Red Feather Award aims to put a spotlight on a new book each month! Our favorite story will be shelved on our WINNERS! reading list as well as be posted to our activity feed. Plus, the winning author will receive a sticker for their story cover and a permanent follow!
A new winner will be selected each month, and the winning book + author will be announced on the first day of the following month. This month's password is your favorite villain. Good luck!
March 1 - March 30 (at 11:59pm MST)
When your story has been accepted, it will be added to our reading list within 48 hours. You can see how many entry spots are still available by looking at our reading list for the respective month. We will be taking a maximum of 200 entries!
RULES:
1. At least five completed chapters (all genres accepted)
