I crossed my left leg over my right as I pulled my skirt down some.

I pulled my shades off my face as my father approached the table, adjusting his suits jacket.

"Beyoncé."

"Mathew." I Replied picking up my menu to look over it.

I had to fly out here to have "lunch" with my father since he thought he was to good to fly to Houston.

"I don't understand why we couldn't have had the meeting in New York, you do have a business up there to you know."

I rolled my eyes as I switched legs, he was not about to start this with me.

"And you know I have a club to run three days a week in Houston, so you should be thanking me for putting this together last minute." I stated glancing around for our waiter.

"Well then bey, how's the club and everything going down there? How's my other daughter?"

I held my hand up to stop him as the waiter walked over.

I didn't need all of America knowing my business. That's why I payed extra to have every table ten feet away from us empty.

We told the waiter our order and waited for him to walk away before continuing our conversation.

"Cut the small talk Mathew, what is this meeting really about? It's been two month's since I've last seen or spoken to you."

Mathew chuckled before he rolled his sleeves up and leaned forward, resting his hands on the table.

"I wanted to talk about the visitor that has been staying with you recently."

I crossed my arms over my chest as I sat back.

"What about my visitor."

"Her father went home to her mother a few days ago, and I got word that her missing person case has been closed as well."

I nodded my head in approval as the waiter came back with our food and drinks.

"Well you already know I was going to get the case closed, but the basterd was free to go hours after I left to go back to Houston."

"Bey he made it seem as though he was beaten so his wife wouldn't know he was with his second family."

I stopped the fork full of salad from entering my mouth as I looked at my father.

"This guy had another family?" If I would have known that, I could have just dealt with them instead of Nickis whining behind.

Mathew raised a brow as he looked at me.

"You didn't know that?"

I shook my head no as I put my fork down all together.

I was feeling sick to the stomach at the idea of Nicki looking up to this man, just to find out he was a dirty nigga plotting against her this whole time.

"What was so urgent for this meeting Mathew." I was over this lunch and I was ready to get back home.

"I heard something I think you need to hear, straight from me, and not over the phone. It concerns your visitor."

I leaned forward to show him that he had my undivided attention.

"What does Nicki have to do with this."
