CONFESSIONS

Oh Annabelle what is it that hurts you so

I looked towards a wide eyed Lucifer who stared at Annabelle in shock as she cried in silence

"It's been so long since she's cried" he whispered more to himself than to me

Even though I'd just met Annabelle I felt a need to comfort her

one foot in front of the other I slowly approached Annabelle as she cried silently to herself forgetting any and everything except for the pain she felt in her chest for who knows what reason

Without a word I simply hugged Annabelle hovering her my shoulder to cry on

"Why can't he just forgive me, he won't even let me explain" Annabelle cried out

I heard the door to the chambers open and close signaling Lucifer had left the room giving us girls alone time

"Come" I stood up reaching a hand out to Annabelle who stared at my hand with glossy eyes before taking it

I looked into her chocolatey brown eyes and smiled wiping away her tears "what is the reason for these tears from such a beautiful woman"

Grabbing my hands Annabelle stared into my eyes "Beauty is not defined just by what's on the outside Scarlett, just like a banana the peel may be brown and disgusting looking but on the inside there is something sweet and beautiful" I laughed a bit at how random the banana explanation was and this lead Annabelle to chuckling a bit

Smiling Annabelle took a deep breath before dropping her hands to her side "sadly I cannot change the past so I'm stuck with my punishment here in the present" she began walking towards the door gripping the handle "and Scarlett child please do call me Anna, Annabelle is a mouthful for no reason" I nodded at her and she walked out without another word

I huffed and my stomach angrily yelled at me signaling it was time to eat just as Lucifer walked in the door with a bag of popcorn, chips and other snacks

His eyes widened and he quickly turned around seeing me "wrong room"

"You bring your butt back in here right now"

I heard him let out a string of curses and something along the lines of he hates sharing

I simply disregarded him and went straight to his bag of hot fries

Popping the bag open I quickly shoved the fries into my mouth and mentally did a happy dance I walked towards the bed a plopped down waving my hand gesturing for Lucifer to do the same

He did so hesitantly and I happily ate half of his snacks I would've eaten them all but he snatched the bags from me and said the rest were for him

Stingy ass

I grabbed the tv remote and decided I'd like to watch some Netflix preferably the Grinch who stole Christmas

After about 20 minutes into the movie and fighting back the words clogging my throat I decided I couldn't take it anymore

"Whats with Constallent and his distasteful attitude towards Anna" I looked up towards Lucifer

Lucifer exhaled deeply and rubbed a hand over his face while using the other to set the snacks aside

"If you want to know what went down with them you'd have to ask them being it isn't my business to tell" he laid back into the bed his eyes closed

I stared at Lucifer for a good while and the longer I stared the more I noticed his state of being I noticed the bags under his eyes, I noticed the wrinkles that lay on his forehead emphasizing his stress,  I noticed the way he laid stiffly instead of actually looking relaxed
