He was always afraid of losing someone he loved and now it's going to happen. He is going to lose someone he really loved since he was a child and there's no way he could cope with that

That's his only dream right now. That she'll stay by his side. That she won't go. He needed her. He needed her to see him graduate. To teach him how to cook. To teach him how to live.

She said she'll promise him to watch him from heaven. To teach him from heaven. She promised him to always be by his side, whatever happens. She promised him and he believed.
If I let go of your hand, you'll fly away and break
He needed to let her go. He knew this but he couldn't. He couldn't let her go because when he did, she would die just like this little butterfly he touched when he was a young boy. Now he's almost seventeen. He knows that you're not supposed to touch a butterfly but still, he touched her heart when he was born. It's this kind of mother-child relationship and now he can't change it. They're both butterfly's which will break because of the loss
