Mʀ ʟᴏᴠᴇʀʙᴏʏ ~ it cast preferences ☏

𝗣𝗲𝘁 𝗻𝗮𝗺𝗲𝘀

Wʏᴀᴛᴛ ᴏʟᴇғғ:
- i feel like wyatt wouldn't be massive on pet names
- like he'd use them but only in certain circumstances  and more so when you're alone
- tends to stick to babe or baby
- ^simple yet effective
- really effective
- he sounds so soft every time he says it and it makes your heart go whooosh
- ^ "baby please can you pass me the remote?" he'll say with a delicate ass voice
- and of course you'll do everything he asks

- but when you call him pet names it's a whole different story
- cos this boy dies a little bit every time (in a good way)
- the first time you do it it's so casual he takes a second to pick up on it
-^"hey baby what are you up to?"
- he pauses
- he gulps
- he slowly turns and stares
- "what did you just call me?"
- "oh shit sorry, i didn't mean to. i can sto-"
- "NO! no um, *cough* no don't stop."
- that first reaction means you now do it as often as possible and he blushes every time
- if he's close to you he'll just bury his face in your neck and let out a little groany whine because he hates (but loves) what it does to him.

Jᴀᴇᴅᴇɴ ᴍᴀʀᴛᴇʟʟ:
- this bitch lovessss pet names
- he thinks it's the perfect way to show affection
- and he will use every pet name under the sun
- especially because he loves your reaction m
-^ because he's quite a shy guy he feels really good about himself when he makes you blush and makes you go all shy too
- his favourite is "pretty girl"
- ^ solely due to the reaction it incites
- "hey pretty girl"
- he'll just chuckle as you grab hold of his shirt and hide your blushing face in his chest, admiring how precious the whole thing is
- sometimes he'll even start stroking your hair and repeating it until your red as a tomato
- "pretty girllll." "pretty girl, what are you hiding for?"
- "jaeden stoppp."

- with you calling him pet names, it started as a joke
- in random situations you'd slide them in to make him giggle and he's just playfully brush them off with a slight blush
- this is mainly because the ones you used were too cheesy
- ^ like "pudding" or "love muffin."
- so it clearly wasn't legit
- but over time, due to how you react to his pet names, you began to put in slightly more acceptable ones to see if you found one for him that had the same effect
- and your were surprised by his favourite
- one day he was looking all sad sat on the couch so you walked over and on instinct said: "what's up babylove?"
- and he just stared at you with the blush on his cheeks growing
- "what?" you say, "babylove?? that's the one that got you?"
- and he'll just blush harder nodding his head lightly "yeh"

Jᴀᴄᴋ ᴅʏʟᴀɴ ɢʀᴀᴢᴇʀ:
- i know every preference book/fanfic says it but i will always stand by jack and "bubba"
- it just radiates jack energy completely and i don't know why
- every time he gives you a hug and you start to hold him a little bit tighter he'll just say "i love you bubba"
- or if you're upset with him and trying to give him the silent treatment he'll use it to get you to talk
- ^ "bubba, pleaseeee.... love meeeee." (𝚒𝚏 𝚝𝚑𝚊𝚝𝚜 𝚠𝚑𝚊𝚝 𝚢𝚘𝚞 𝚠𝚊𝚗𝚗𝚊 𝚍𝚘, 𝙾𝙷.)

- you tend to call him "bubba" too
- catching the habit from him
- and he was so pleased the first time you called him it
- ^ "jack, bubba, please shut up"
- "did you just call me bubba?"
- "huh, yeah i guess i did"
- "do it again!"
- you've also go into the habit of shortening it to "bubs"
- ^ which he likes even more
- "hey bubs, can i borrow your beanie?"
- "only if you call me that again"
- "jack i call you it all the time."
- "so it won't hurt doing it again"
- "please can i borrow your beanie, BUBS"
- "of course, you can bubba."

Fɪɴɴ ᴡᴏʟғʜᴀʀᴅ:
- i used what i think would be finns go to pet name in the bedtime preference
- "lover"
- i think it fits really well with finns whole like indie boy brand thing and i can't really explain why
- it just feels to him a lot more meaningful than "babe" or "baby"
- ^ like in a song, "lover" sounds more heartfelt than "babygirl"
- and trust me, he has wrote so many songs with the world "lover" in now thanks to you
- it's not even it's own word anymore, it's you
- when he first said it, you were a bit taken aback as you hadn't really heard it as a pet name before and for some reason it felt quite significant for you
- "lover?" you'd ask after he said it
- "of course. you are my lover"
- ^ and your were sold.

- due to finns name for you, you immediately adapted the pet name "loverboy" for him
- at first it began teasing
- every time you said it finn would roll his eyes and try again to defend that you are "his lover"
- but eventually it became something really caring and soft
- ^ if finn was upset you'd say "what's wrong with my loverboy"
- or if he was away and you were facetiming it would always begin with "i miss you, loverboy."
- and finn became so protective of that word
- if you ever used it out of context or if he ever saw someone else use it he'd point it out to you
- "hey, y/n, someone stole your word"
- "don't worry loverboy, no ones taking you away from me that easily"
