Chapter 15: After a long time

As Ash starts walking towards exit he notices someone standing there in a black cloak.

"I see you're reunited with your girlfriend" said the figure

"You jealous that i have one? haha" said ash

"Dont get on my nerve kid , it would be even bad when you loose" said Giovanni ; "After all enjoy as much as you can with her , sooner or later she'll be no more kid" said Giovanni as he walked away.

"I need to keep an eye on Serena" ash said in his mind with concern

"ASH!" a voice came from behind. The voice was music to his ears and he already knew who it was.

Serena runs towards him and hugs him hard before giving a little kiss on his cheek.

"You did it!" she said

"All thanks to you, Serena" he said

"Oh cmon i didn't battle , it was you!" she said while smiling.

"But... your pep tal..." he was cut off by Serena hugging him once more.

"You're really enjoying your hugs aren't you" he asks in a low tone

"I've missed this since last 6 years , ill hug you as much as i want now" she said while burring her face in his chest.

"I missed you, Serena" he says

"I did too" she says.

"Serena!" she looks back while still hugging Ash and sees the whole group coming towards them.

"So you are together?" said Teasing Dawn

"Wha..t do u mea........" she realises she is till hugging ash. Immediately let him go and stands beside him blushing hard.

"I should get , going" Says Ash and  walks off.

"You really had destroy the moment didn't you?" said May to Dawn in a annoyed tone.

"I didn't know they were hugging each other, we were too far away to see it clearly" Said Dawn

Serena sighed in relief as they didn't hear their talk.

"Lets go eat something , Paul must be hungry" Said Dawn with a blush.

"You care a lot about Paul dont you?" Asked Serena.

"What,.. i... just" she tried to gather words , but her confusion turned into blush as the group started laughing.

"Yeah , lets go im hungry aswell" said Clemont and the boys behind nodded aswell.

The group went over in the pokemon center to eat and did some exploration in town.

Serena looked happier than she ever looked in the past 6 years. Even though she was not with him at that time , she was happy to see him again.

"So Serena, you're so happy today, whats the deal" Asked Bonnie

"A..h wel well" She tried to say.

"She is friends with Aaron now" said Gary cutting her off and helping her.

"I see" said bonnie. The other group were walking in forward. Dawn was walking with Paul , May was walking with Trevor and Misty was walking with Gary. Brock and Clemont were walking around with Bonnie and Serena.

Ash's POV

"Man Serena really helped us today" he said while training in forest with his pokemons.

"Yes she did Master, That is the reason you love her?" Asked curious Lucario

"Ye....Yeah. She's been supporting me the day i met her again, she was my best friend in the summer camp aswell" he said , paused for a bit and continued,"I will not allow anyone to even put a scratch on her" he says

"Anyway, lets start our training, although today both you and pikachu will train against them"

"Oh , no" they both said while Ash tossed the pokeballs up revealing Charizard , Blastoise , Feraligatr and Greninja.

After the training was done , the beautiful area atleast what it was before the training has turned into Dust. Trees broken , Ashes of burnt leaves , Cracks on ground.

Ash returns his pokeballs and then looked over to Lucario and Pikachu who are laying on ground tired.

Ash picks lucario on his back and pikachu with whatever energy remains climbs onto his shoulders.

"Pika pi ka chu!!" he says

"I agree with pikachu , Master" says lucario in a tired tone

"Hm i guess you guys earned a good dinner" he says as both lucario and pikachu smiles.

"We'll eat at the restaurant on top of our hotel" says ash while he carries lucario and pikachu to the hotel.

Its already time for dinner when they reached the restaurant. Both Lucario and Pikachu ate the food like Snorlax and slept. Pikachu curled itself in a fuzzy ball and slept on Ash's lap while Lucario was sitting next to ash with his head on  Ash's shoulder and was sleeping soundly. Ash was looking out of the glass which showed wonderful scenery of the whole town. The staff encouraged ash to stay as long as he wanted.

Soon the group also came to the restaurant to eat food and saw Aaron sitting on his own on the Curved sofa with his pokemons. 

"Aaron!" serena said. Ash looked at them and smiled. 

"Hey guys, come join us" said ash.

Serena took a look at lucario with his head on his shoulder , even though he was his pokemon and Serena was his girlfriend she felt a little jealous as she cant do that yet. She sat next to Ash where Lucario wasn't on. when everyone ordered their meals

"Aaron you're not gonna eat anything? , aren't you hungry?" Asked Serena. Gary and Trevor just smiled at her and ash, thinking that she still cares a lot about him.

"I already ate" he said.

"Oh , cmon i wont like you not eating while im eating my food" she said with a concerned eyes.

The whole except for again Gary and Trevor gasped.

Serena then realizes she said it out loud, but at this point she didn't care and still kept looking at Ash while blushing furiously.

"Ok ok chill... i ll order something too" Said Ash smiling.

The group started talking about their journey , adventures , friends and what Ash meant to them. Ash was overwhelmed when he heard his friends talking about him  proudly and he just couldn't wait to get back to them.

"So Aaron , how did you meet Lucario" Asked Brock.

The group turned towards Ash expecting a answer. 

"Uhm its a long story but here it goes" as Ash explains the whole story the group looks at the man in front of them with a concern on their face but which laters turn into happiness when they learn both Riolu and Aaron was safe in end. Lucario sees this through aura and starts licking Ash where he accidentally scratched him  when he was a young Riolu. The group looks at them in Awe.

Soon their food arrives and as they starts eating , Serena quickly puts her hand on top of ash's hand , Ash turns to look at her and sees her blushing madly eating her food. He lets her do whatever she desires.

Soon after when everyone is done eating

"So Aaron, are you ready for our battle tomorrow?" Asked Trevor. 

"Of course i am, Lucario cant wait aswell" Said Aaron Smiling

With that Ash gets up leaving Serena's hand and starts walking out of the restaurant with lucario and holding pikachu in his arms. He glance at his friends one last time before heading into lift.
