A heated argument
A blistering rage
All because of
A choice we made.
We were eating lunch
And talking about dogs
I said mine was the best, and she said hers was
Then we both started croaking like frogs.
I screeched
She howled
We got dangerously close
And just shouted.
We're both in the principals office
Waiting for him to come
Then he lumbered into the room
And I wondered where he came from.
He was very wide
But not very tall
He walked right next to us
And looking up made me fall.
He boomed in a loud voice
Our punishments we got
I got detention
She had to scrub the pots.
So now I sit here
In this small, detention room
Telling my tale
Telling my woes.
