"Draco, why didn't you say something to Snape?" Harry questioned when they reached seats in the main hall by Blaise and Pansy.
"We're friends now so why should I? Unless you don't want us to be. I mean I understand, I shouldn't have just assumed-"

"Yes we are friends Draco, as long as you don't call Hermione a mudblood." Surprisingly, Draco hugged Harry, and Harry hugged back. Just then, Draco realised how skinny Harry was, his ribs were almost touchable. There moment was interrupted by a cough from an uncomfortable pansy and Blaise in hysterics over her jealousy ridden face.

"Hiya Harry!" George exclaimed.
"We've just had a double with umbridge." Fred said after.
"Worst lesson ever."
"But she isn't going to stop our business"

"That's right Fred." (The twins sat opposite Harry)
"Thankyou George."
"Our business is booming in Slytherin."
"Hufflepuffs are scared of what we'll do if they say no-"
"Ravenclaws seem to like us more-"

"Gryffindors are still buying like the end of last year-"
"And we finally have business with Slytherin! This house has the most amount of buyers." Harry's head kept flicking between the two like a tennis rally.

"Oh yeah, can I have ten of those Skiving Snackboxes?" Blaise asked pulling thirty one Galleons and thirteen sickles from his pocket.
"Certainly but you can have them for twenty galleons." Fred generously offered.
"Harry's friends get a discount." George swapped the money for the snackboxes.

"Wait, didn't you say the price was going to be one galleon and a sickle each?" Harry questioned.
"Yes, but Slytherins don't mind splashing the cash." George replied
"So you ripped me off yesterday night!" Draco exclaimed to the twins, "I brought five of them for fifteen galleons and fifteen sickles when it was only going to be five for five galleons and five sickles?" The twins had stood up and bolted for the other end of the table avoiding the rath of a Malfoy.

"Welcome to Defense Against The Dark Arts. This year we are getting you ready for your Ordinary Wizarding Levels. O, W, L. OWLS." Umbridge wacked a beating stick at the board causing the room to jump. "Right, well then, wands away and text books out. There will be no need to use magic in this lesson." Everyone put their wands away then brought out their text book. "Yes miss Granger?" Hermione's hand had shot to the air when she heard wands away.

"Professor, part of the exam is practical. Surely, using defensive spells would make us more prepared. And, we also need them for what is out their in the real world." Hermione said with her hand still raised in the air.
"Miss Granger, who do you think would want to hurt teenagers like yourself?" Umbridge asked nervously laughing.

"Oh I don't know maybe lord Voldemort!" Harry shouted from the back of the class, Blaise tried to restrain Harry from interfering and he did, until Blaise wasn't strong enough. Deathly silence followed Harry's mini outburst. Draco and Blaise both had to force Harry to his seat. "Children, you may have heard rumours that a certain dark lord has returned. I am here to inform you  those rumours are not true-"

"So according to you, Cedric Diggory dropped dead on his own accord?" Harry shouted now brutally fighting back the two boys.

"Cedric Diggory's death was a tragic accident." Umbridge nervously laughed again.

"I was there in the graveyard the night he died! He was killed by Voldemort and anyone who doesn't believe me is a bone idled git!" Harry's voice now had the most impact in the room as many people shrunk in their chairs- presumably ones who believed the Daily Prophet.

"Detention!" Umbridge shreicked like the mermaids egg did, "one, for your outburst, two, for your use of rotten language and three, for spreading lies!" Umbridge counted on her fingers, "that is six detentions then Mr Potter."

"I am not a liar!" He exclaimed one more time before Pansy helped drag him down herself.

"Let's make that seven! See me tonight Mr Potter!" She shivered slightly then went back to a high pitched screech she thought was soft, "read chapters one and two in lesson, then I want a role of parchment on what you have learnt."

It was the end of their double and everyone filed out in silence. Hermione ran straight over to him and slapped him hard across the face; Pansy, Draco and Blaise couldn't help but laugh.
"That'll leave a mark." Draco said inbetween laughter.

"What do you think you are doing! Harry Potter you are an idiot!"
"Message received 'Mione but did you really have to slap me?" Harry was massaging his cheek. 'She is a lot stronger than I thought' Harry was thinking. "Yes I did and if you pull a stunt like that again I will hit you even harder than I hit Malfoy in third year!" With that Hermione  stormed away.

"I underestimated Granger." Pansy laughed.
"That was quite something." Stated Blaise in awe until his mind supplied he said that out loud, "wait erm. I didn't say anything, I'll see you in the hall or common room, whichever comes first." Blaise sprinted from the group and they swore they heard him shout after Hermione.

"What did she mean by hitting Harry harder than Draco in third year?" Pansy asked as the boys looked between each other, "oh my god! She was the one who broke your nose! She broke your nose when you said a door hit you in the face!" Pansy was now in an uncontrollable fit and Harry didn't help by telling Pansy exactly what happened, along with a step by step play of Draco's facial expressions.

"Come in Mr Potter." Umbridge's shaky voice commanded. Quidditch try-outs were next Wednesday so he was determined to not get another detention. The room was sickly pink. Images of cats neatly laid on the walls and ten pencils of the same length were placed the same way. "You will be writing lines Mr Potter. No, not with your quill, we are going to use my special one."
"I don't have any ink Professor."
"Oh you won't need it Mr Potter. You will be writing the line 'I must not tell lies' today. It will take you until the line... sinks in."

Harry put pen to paper then pain filled his right hand. Umbridge was leaning over his shoulder so he pushed through the pain not giving that witch (referring to the Muggle version) the satisfaction.

Eventually she moved so Harry took the chance to look at his hand. It was dripping in blood and letters were engraved by his vein reading what he had supposed to be writing on paper. "Right Mr Potter, be back here tomorrow at seven." Harry grabbed his back using his left arm then opened the door with the same hand.

"Do not scare me like that again!" Draco exclaimed hugging harry's skinny body. Like last time, Harry hugged back and it felt right. "It is two in the morning Harry! What the hell have you been doing? You have been gone for five hours! Five flipping hours!" Draco was shouting in the dorm room. Harry explained about his detention but left out the part about his hand. "If this affectionate display is finished, I would like to go to bed." Blaise said closing the curtains on his bed. That was shortly followed by Draco and Harry.

"Take down Hogwarts!" A muffled voice exclaimed but Harry knew it too well.
"Yes my lord" a whiny, high pitched voice said sounding exactly like Umbridge.
"There's someone listening..." Voldermorts icicle eyes darted to the door. Harry saw a whisp of platinum blonde hair from the door. "Halt!" Then the boy stopped, "What did you hear?"
"Nothing my lord." The boy nervously replied turning around. 'It couldn't be! He doesn't have the mark, I know he doesn't! Why is Voldemort at his house!' Harry said in his head in his head (it confused Harry too).
"Liar! Crucio!" Voldemort shouted pointing the wand at Draco who then fell to the floor. Harry knew exactly how the curse felt, he experienced it in the graveyard, and he was experiencing it now through his dream. He was feeling the pain Draco did, not just physical but also emotional.

"Harry! Harry!" Draco and Blaise were both trying to wake him up. "Harry what happened? You were having a fit! You were shaking and screaming 'No stop!' And you were sweating dangerously!" Draco was petrified seeing Harry in the state he was in.

"Draco, why didn't you tell me about Voldermort?" Harry whispered still in shock. Blaise had went back to his bed. "Was that what your dream was about?" Draco asked, Harry nodded in reply.
"I am not letting you go back Draco. You will stay with me and there are no ifs or buts about it!" Harry casted a silencing charm around his bed. "Can you stay with me the night?" Harry timidly asked, Draco nodded then pulled Harry into a tight hug. They both had tears streaming down their face: Draco was overjoyed he didn't have to go back to hell and Harry couldn't believe what Draco had been going through.
