Emma was practically frozen. The shadow became a silhouette of a man. She stared at it. He reached out and grabbed her wrist. Emma didn't make a sound because she didn't want that other person in Melody's room to hear her shriek. He leaned in and whispered "What's going on?". It was Will.

"Oh my god! I thought you were a robber!" Emma whispered back to him. "Sorry! I saw that you got up, why are we whispering?" Will whispered back to her. "I heard a crash coming from downstairs and there is someone in Melody's room!" Emma whispered to him. Will let go of her wrist and clenched his fists. He was not going to let a robber take their baby. Will told Emma to get a pan and hide by the door incase the thief decided to run. He stood back, and threw his body into Melody's door. Nothing. He did it again. Not even a slight budge. One last try. The door bursts open. He ran into the room to the crib, it was empty. He cried Melody's name. Emma ran to the room, she saw Will on the floor clenching Melody's pink blankie. Emma ran her fingers through her hair and started to cry. She looked up and saw that the window was open. She crawled over to the window and yelled her name.
