I drew some OCs (then Zero XD) as the Seven Deadly Sins. Sloth is on another page since I ran out of room and didn't want to disrupt the style I had here 😂.
I have the main "sin" or "personality" and then some sub-sins (? 😂) for them.
Babe... I'm pretty sure most of you know the main reason why he fits into the Lust sin. 😅😂
Lust is described as a strong desire, often basically referred to sexual urge. But I'm also following the meaning lusting for things that could be deeply craved. Like money, food or other things.
Gluttony was a difficult one to assign. And Revenant was hard to assign in general too 😂. His literal personality is supposed to be randomized, when a specific pattern forms in his brain, glitches switches it around to reform a new train of thought.
Gluttony often is defines as over-consumption of food. But I'm mostly referring to the part of gluttony of where their never satisfied with how much they get, which could be food, possessions or other things like that. Revenant probably would collect a ton of one specific item at a time as a collectible or something only to get sick of it quickly due to his brain alterations and then switch to something new. He would be gluttony because he feels like he needs to find something that'll "cure him".
I'm pretty such Revenant ate until he was sick in the drawing though 😅.
Pride. I was almost going to give this to Zero, but wrath suited him better since it's an emotion and Phantom doesn't feel those 😅. They're technically the same person just with enhanced traits so 🤷🏼♀️😂. Still a subcategory for Zero though.
Anyway, pride is a satisfaction derived from one's own achievements. It's described as the worst sin, being arrogance and "preferring one's own will to God's". This isn't about religion, but Phantom definitely has personal goals and sees himself as a god, and would have no regard for higher powers.
Zero is wrath, an uncontrollable anger, can express itself in a desire to punish someone. I feel like he would have had much more of a temper in his younger years, since Zero seems like he's been through a lot. If that's not the case, then it could be right after loosing his squad to Shadow, he'd be vengeful and would be doing everything he can to get him back.
Velocity (sorry, I keep inserting her into everything all the time 🤣) is envy. Which is a want to have a quality, possession, or something else that belongs to someone else. I'm going with another definition, which is being envious of someone's else's own happiness. After all the s**t Vel's been through, she'd likely be jealous that other people are able to be happy and live calm lives without trauma haunting them.
