alysia's pov

we are now in sydney, australia. there was three days between the first show and the second one. the first day was spent traveling and resting up. now it's the second day and i've got something special planned.

"i honestly think you're gonna kill me at this point." billie mumbled as i led her to our destination, holding her hand. "momma always told me not to talk random people and the one time i did, she's gonna kill me! i mean, seriously, was the blindfold necessary?"

i laughed at her rambling. "i promise, i'm not gonna kill you, baby. and yes, the blindfold is very necessary."

she sighed, her grip tightening on my hand. "you sure you're not gonna kill me? cause, like... i'd be pretty mad if you did. you know, with my career just starting or whatever."

i stopped as we arrived at our destination. "seriously, bil, i'm not going to kill you. now stay here."

"can i take the blindfold off now?" she whined.

"no," i said, getting everything set up quickly. "not yet."

i grabbed the flowers and stood in the middle of everything and in front of her. "okay, now you can take the blindfold off."

she smiled, reaching her hands up and taking off the blindfold. she blinked a few times to let her eyes adjust to the light, then let them fixate on me. her jaw dropped a little. "wait, this is actually so cute."

"shh, let me speak." i giggled. "okay, i had a whole thing to say but now that this is actually happening, i forgot it. okay, so um... i like you. i like you a lot, actually. i've only known you for like three months now, but already you've helped me through so much. we started texting each other at just the right time for me. i don't know where i'd be right now if you hadn't texted me that night, honestly. so um... be my girlfriend?" i asked, a hopeful smile on my face as i held the flowers out a bit more.

she smiled before taking a step closer and wrapping her arms around my neck. "holy shit." she mumbled. "i- yes!"

i grinned and wrapped my arms around her waist. she pulled back slightly and rested her hands on my face. "i really wanna kiss you right now." she whispered.

"yeah?" i whispered back, suddenly aware of how close she actually was. i could feel her breath fan my face lightly due to how close her face was to mine.

"yeah. so i'm gonna do that." she said before crashing her lips to mine.

her hands ran through my hair lightly and my hand (that wasn't holding the flowers) moved to grip her waist, pulling her closer to me. our lips molded together perfectly.

after a few minutes, we pulled away, breathless. billie smiled softly at me. "i've been wanting to do that for so loooong, like you don't even know, bro!"

"bro." i mocked.

she hit my shoulder. "oh shut up! how many times have you called me dude?"

"oop." 

"exactly."

i laughed as my thumb traced small circles on her waist. "but yeah, i've been wanting to do that a while too."

she looked around at where we were. we were standing on a platform that was surrounded by water. we had a nice view of the city. i had a blanket laid out and a basket with some food in it.

(^ this but with a little picnic set up on it :))

"wow." she whispered. "this is beautiful. how did you manage this?"

"a girl i went to high school moved here for college and i remembered that she always loved to set up dates and shit for people so i asked her for a favor. i had to get up pretty early to get it set up and then get back to the hotel before you woke up, but it was definitely worth it."

"you're so cute." she mumbled.

i grinned at her, closing my eyes, and scrunching my nose.

"so... are you hungry?" i asked.

"you know it."

i laughed as i pulled away from the position we was in. i sat down and watched as she did too. i handed her the flowers. "these are for you." i smiled.

she took them from my hand and smiled back at me. "thank you, princess."

"you're welcome."

"i guess you're not that short, but you're still short."

she reached her hand into the water and the flicked some of the water at my face. "i'm not short. you're literally two inches taller than me."

i flinched when the water hit my face, using my hoodie sleeve to dry it. "you are short, though!"

she crossed her arms. "i hate you." she grumbled.

"sure you do." i smirked.

she let out a small laugh, unable to keep a straight face. "whatever."
