It had been one year since Honeydew and Woyi had left MoonClan and now they discovered something very unique about Sparrow. She could see scent trails and spirits any time she wanted to.
"Mothers! I want to leave and start my own life now! I'm brave enough!" Sparrow complained.
"No, Sparrow. You have to wait one more year!" replied Woyi, losing her patients.
"Come on, Woyi. Let's hunt," Honeydew murmured. Woyi followed. Sparrow trailed behind them.
"No! You stay! We're hunting moose and they're too big for you to catch!"
"Fine!" Sparrow growled. She went to the den, wrapping her tail around herself, groaning.
Honeydew and Woyi found an elk. "This will have to do," Woyi growled. They both got in a crouch, though unexpectedly a cougar jumped out from behind the elk, almost landing on Honeydew with claws unsheathed! But right before the cougar was about to hit her, Sparrow jumped in, pinning the cougar, sinking her jaws into its neck! Her mothers stood in shock. Finally, the cougar gave in as Sparrow only had one scrape on her eye, because she could sense the cougar's weak spot.
"Now can I be a warrior?"
