I should've ignored you that day,
never thought It'll leave you to say
sorry for all the things done
even though all we could do is none.
We could never save it
nor our frowns no longer lift.
I could've held you more,
it would've lessened my heart's sore.
Forgive me all my wrong,
forgive me for not holding you long
I would hate me if I were you
I would leave and take all my thing
I would let you clean up the mess.
But I was never you
you would stay and pick up the mess
you would stay and still call me everything.
Everything that you wanted.
Everything you needed.
I would look at the mirror
and point every flaw
but in every error
you see a lovely picture drawn
I could never see me saying
our love is near to ending
all I would want to see is us in a wedding
loving each other with no ending.
You would love me,
even if when all I did was lie.
You would stay,
even when I told you to go away.
So many reasons,
in each of the seasons.
You could've left me in the sky,
you could've left me a lie.
Love, hate me.
Please, you can't save me.
Our love wasn't long,
but I could write stories
all about how I was wrong
and how you'd always say your sorry's.
If you were mine to keep
and the bed together for us to sleep
please stay forever,
and leave never.
