pregame times Kokichi and Shuichi were friends and did normal friend things, but they had a little more like small kisses and stuff like that, Kokichi ended up falling for Shuichi but he didn't feel the same until they got into the killing game, Kokichi lost feelings for Shuichi while Shuichi gained feelings for Kokichi, Shuichi confessed to Kokichi but Kokichi rejected him, after surviving the game(but they didn- IDC) Shuichi tried again, Kokichi accepted out of guilt and they were happy together......lol
