Y/n's POV:

'Rise and shine sunshine!'

I groaned. 'Piss off.'

'Woah, language!'

I rubbed my eyes and stared at the blue-haired boy. 'Sorry, Dante. I forgot that I moved, my old roommate was a bitch.'

'Yikes.'

I chuckled.

'Anyways, when you got home last night you ran to your room in a rush. Everything okay?'

I remembered last night and attempted to cover the bruise with my hand.

'Hold on.' He slowly pushed my hand away. 'How'd this happen?'

'I just... er- fell.'

He raised an eyebrow. 'Oh really? Fall where?'

'...Into my car door...'

'And how'd you fall?'

'I-I tripped over my own feet! I'm so clumsy.' I giggled nervously.

He frowned. 'Don't lie to me.'

'I'm not lying!'

He sighed. 'Is he hurting you?'

'No! Of course not. That's ridiculous.'

'Do you swear you'd tell me if he was?'

I gulped. 'I swear.'

'Okay. I believe you. Now, Travis and I are going to the other guy's house because Laurence made pancakes. You wanna join?'

'I'll be over in a little bit.'

'Alright. Don't be too long!' He chuckled.

'I'll try not to.' I smiled as he walked out the door.

I looked around the near-empty room, which only had a mattress with sheets in the corner, a small white stool, clothes hanging in the closet and scattered on the floor, and a few boxes.

I groaned and began to get ready for the day.

Before leaving, I attempted to cover the bruise with makeup.

'You can only notice a tad.' I muttered.

I walked down the stairs and out the door, over to the guys house.

'Well good morning Y/n.' Laurence grinned at me.

'Mhm.' I walked past him to the living room.

'Morning Garroth!' I smiled.

'Good morning Y/n. Oh, was everything okay with Elijah last night?'

'Oh uhm, yeah! He was just drunk so I drove him home...' I gulped.

'Ah, well that's good.'

I stared at the floor while my friends chattered.

Maybe I should call Elijah.

It was just an accident, he wouldn't purposely hurt me.

I love him. And he loves me.

Yeah, i'm gonna call him.

'Excuse me for just a moment. I have to make a phone call.' I spoke in a soft voice, standing up and walking outside.

I dialled his number in taking a deep breath.

It rang for what felt like hours before he finally answered.
