"Where're you taking me?" I ask Jonny as he leads me down the stairs of our flat, my eyes closed as per his request
"It's a surprise,"
"Jonny, I'm not exactly dressed for the outside world to see right now," I respond, gesturing to one of his old shirts tied around me and a skirt which my mum gave me years ago.
"It doesn't matter," We keep walking and I'm pretty sure we're going towards the parking spaces
"Stop," Jonny wraps his arms around me from behind "open," when I do, I'm greeted by a car, no a house? A car house?
"You brought a house for when I finally snap and kick you out of the flat?"
"It's a car!" he exclaims
"It's a bit brick-y," Jonny detaches himself from me and stand in front if me
"This is what I was working extra hours for, and sucking up to Liz for,"
"A shitty car?"
"No! A promotion,"
"You got promoted?!" I smile "that's great, oh my god!" I wrap my arms around him and let him kiss me, we haven't actually kissed like this in ages.
"Sorry I blew you off loads," he kisses my forehead
"Yeah well, you're gonna have to do a lot to make up for it. But I'm sorry for overreacting a bit"
"I could start to making up now," he gestures to the car and I laugh
"I do not want to be seen in that," his smile drops "But, you could make it up to me in other ways," I raise my eyebrow and the message is received as he picked my up and practically runs back up the stairs whilst I laugh.
