The nerves were sky high the next day, and we were all on edge, particularly myself, and even though Draco attempted to comfort me, he was blatantly as nervous as I was, if not more so.
Ginny was struggling, and it took her an hour to get out of bed, let alone anything else. Her morning sickness had put her in a bad way and she was feeling unusual pain.
"Ginny, you have to try relax. Trust me, we're all nervous, but just remember, stressing yourself out is not good for the baby." I reminded her softly, helping her to get ready as she was feeling weak.
"I know, and thanks 'Mione," She sighed tiredly, rubbing her eyes as I zipped the back of her dress up for her.
"No problem. We just need to hurry a little. Now, a quick spell and you'll be fine." I said to her, waving my wand quickly, to cast a finishing touches non verbal spell.
"Ready?" Blaise asked Ginny, who nodded as he was unsure but let her take his arm.
"We should floo. No car drama, no dangers of apparation." Harry suggested, getting some floor powder ready for everybody.
"It's going to be okay Draco. We'll get through this no matter what the outcome is." I smiled slightly at him, which seemed to cheer him somewhat before we took a handful of floo powder each and individually spoke the clinic name.
TIME SKIP AN HOUR
It did take us a while to floo there as the hospital we'd chosen was private as we didn't want the prophet snooping on us, which they frequently did, especially after we stopped purchasing it.
We walked into the building and spoke to the receptionist, who took us to a small room and told us to wait for someone to come and take our hair samples and the spit swabs.
We didn't have to wait long.
"Hello everyone, and how can I help today?" The friendly doctor enquired, looking around with a grin upon his youthful features.
"We need to find out who the Father of her unborn child is. Blaise, or Draco." Harry explained.
"Ah, I see. You sent the first people to be in this plight you know and I don't judge you. It's not my business or job to. Just to make sure you're all alright, and whoever wishes to go first, step forwards," the doctor said kindly, instilling some reassurance in us all.
I stayed outside with Harry as Draco stepped forwards, and Blaise after him.
It all seemed to be too real. The prospect of someone I was engaged to, supposed to be having a child with having a child with another woman was simply just too much for me to bear.
Harry noticed that my lip was trembling, and my chin was shaking too as I attempted to hold back the tears.
"Hermione, try not to upset yourself. It's no good for the baby." He attempted to soothe me, but I couldn't help it.
Once the others emerged from the room, shaking and nervous, I threw my arms around Draco.
"I hope to god everything works out." I whispered as he consoled me, wrapping his arms around me, his apple scent lingering long after he let go.
